Minnesota will be asking plenty for Wally. Also, I don't agree that they need draft picks now. So many of the guys are unproven, and will take long time to develop, it probably won't hurt them until several years down the road. With the mid level exception being bumped up, they can chase a solid free agent anyway.

To fully dreamcast, let's pretend we can get: Fizer, Lafrentz, Tariq Abdul-Wahad to Houston.
Cato, Walt, Detroit pick, Posey, Drew obligation to Chicago
    KT, Miller, Collier, #13, Artest

Then, resign Hakeem/Mooch and sign Jerome Williams, and Rodney Rogers. (both player options)
    Hakeem/Lafrentz
    Fizer/Williams
    Rogers/[Abdul-Wahad]/Langhi
    Mobley/Abdul-Wahad
    Francis/Mooch
That still leaves 2 roster spots (and plenty of cap) for #22 and #18 (if we get/keep them). You can substitute Mo, Antonio Davis, Marc Jackson, or Nazr Mohammed instead of JYD, but IMO he makes for the best backup and energy guy behind Fizer. For R. Rogers, you could substitute Eddie Robinson, Patterson, Gill, Mason, etc. if that strikes your fancy.

"That's been a lifelong dream of mine." -Vince Carter, after laying it in on a breakaway, much to the Vancouver crowd's displeasure.

Collier? No way! The deals off if we have to give up Collier. However, I would be willing to relinquish our right to find & sign Serge Zwikker, to Denver instead. [IMG]
