Would be disgusting if SA was gifted the Raiders.. too big a fanbase and too much good history. I wouldn't mind them having a team, but start from scratch. Would be horrible if they won championships before us, but Texas needs more teams. The state's population doesn't match the number of pro franchises. Florida has same amount of teams, yet much fewer citizens.
Rams and chargers to LA, Clippers to St. Louis Anaheim Ducks to San Diego Raiders to San Antonio There. Everyone should be happy
Next up. McNair needs to buy the Oilers name and history back. Houston Oilers return. JJ WATT retires an Oiler.

The L.A. Rams have to bring back the classic colors. It just fits and matches the Lakers. Teams are too afraid of bright colors these days.
Good call. Columbia Blue would be the real alternate jerseys on special home games. Battle Red and Blue
Prediction: Chargers stay in SD. Raiders move to LA for a few years. Leave for Oakland or San Antonio as soon as they get financing for a stadium. History repeats!
St. Louis is a better NFL market than San Antonio (no competition from the Cowboys), and they already have the inside track to building a new stadium. They'd get the first crack at any team not moving to LA.
That city couldn't keep the oldest franchise in the league and doesn't even want pro basketball, so I doubt there'll be any sense of loss. Being the best baseball fans in America probably saps your strength.
The people in STL don't want to pay for a new stadium and after they paid for the cardinals new stadium, they put in a law to make sure a vote is always held when a publicly financed stadium is to be built. And then tthe mayor of STL went to court and got the judge to bypass that law when he proposed using 400 million of taxpayer money when they were trying to get a new Rams stadium.

Honestly if I was a STL taxpayer, I'd be pissed after that and I wouldn't care if the Rams left.
But would you want it to happen? McNair has already proven to be a pretty inept owner. So it wouldn't surprise if he didn't. But I would still want him to.
There's no such thing as "first crack". It's all about where the Raiders want to be. My money is on them returning to Oakland after a small hiatus in LA. However, if you're an owner and you're choosing between STL and SA, consider... STL population: Lost two NFL franchises, population dropped by over 50% in the last 30 years SA population: In a football crazed state, population growth of almost 50% over the last 10 years San Antonio seems like a better long-term bet, IMO.
Except for the fact that it primarily is a Cowboys market... and the amount of fortune 500 companies that the NFL relies on to fill the corporate boxes/PSL sales has always been a questionable issue. Not to mention that San Antonio is still very much in limbo about building another new stadium, after they've spent a bit on the Alamodome, and got nothing except some final fours and a bowl game out of it. I agree STL is not the perfect NFL market either... but they still have the corporate base/wealthy citizens to support at least 2 professional teams, they have a worked-out stadium plan, and there is little competition from other NFL markets.
Not sure how this statement helps STL when Rams would be the 3rd pro team.. Austin's proximity can't hurt SA's cause.
