I am rooting for the Jazz. The Jazz are awful on the road. If they happen to get lucky and win some road games in the first round, it ain't gonna last in the 2nd round.

I was going to start a similar thread but my title was goign to be "Help me I'm Conflicted!?"

As a loyal Houston Rocket fan I know I should never cheer for the Jazz but I can't stand how the NBA is already preordaining a Lakers / Cavs final, I still can't stand the arrogance of Lakers or Kobe or Gasol, never liked LA, and in general root for the underdog. This is the same problem I'm having as a Pac-10 fan that Stanford is my rival but I can't help rooting for them when they play USC..

Help a conflicted Rocket fan.. is there any situation that I should root for the Jazz?

It's strange I've always disliked the Lakers/Jazz, almost equally, maybe Utah a little bit more.

Also, I do hope it blows up in the league's/big media companies/etc. face and have neither one make it and if one does make it (have them get swept by some unlikely team, hopefully the Rockets, if not them, let it be the Blazers, Nuggets, Magic, Hawks, or Heat...anyone but those two.

We already get enough of those teams during season, why not get a break from them in the playoffs...which is another reason why NBA will never be as highly touted as the NFL. Where more times than not, it is ok to have odd teams in the championship or winning the Super Bowl, but it is the end of the world in NBA and MLB.

    No

Don't be conflicted. It's very simple. Hate the Jazz always, with everything you've got.
