I don't think Bledsoe's jumper will ever develop like that. But he is relentless and he's a very good defender which is a need. He can even defend sg's at times if need be. Basically Russell Westbrook light, and this team could use that. His injuries are a concern though
If I was Daryl Morey I am working a sign and trade with the Suns for Eric Bledsoe. They just signed Isaiah Thomas and they lost Channing Frye in FA, maybe they need a PF. We could offer them Jones or D-Mo.
There's no guarantee anyone will stay healthy. His health issues are the only reason he's hypothetically available.
What is the guarantee that Harden stays healthy next year? You never know. That is sports though. You take the chance with talented players like Harden and Bledsoe. Sometimes you win and sometimes you lose.

there's nothing that would preclude us from doing a sign and trade with the Suns for Bledsoe, (especially if the Suns had no intention of matching and there was a pick or a solid young player in it for them), right?
Yes, I'd say an offer of NOP 1st pick and Jones may be enticing for either Dragic or Bledsoe if they were so inclined (and Bledsoe wanted to come here)
I am sure Suns would work out a sign and trade for the right price easily. A sign and trade would cut out the 3 day wait period, right?
Exactly Bledsoe has missed 25% of his 4 year career due to injury, and if it wasn't for that he'd be currently re-signed with a max deal on the Suns. Bledsoe is still only 24, and has played 75% of his games, i'd definitely be willing to take a chance on him. Finalize the Asik (Pelicans 2015 1st and Ajinca) and Lin (Rockets 2015 first, future second) deals. Trade rights to Capela, Johnson, Jones, Pelicans 2015 1st and Rockets 2017 1st for Bledsoe signed to his max. We would still have our MLE and BAE, sign Marion to a 2 year MLE and re-sign Daniels with BAE. Sign Garcia with veteran minimum. Bledsoe/Beverley Harden/Daniels Parsons/Garcia Marion/Motiejunas Howard/Ajinca Team looks like a conference finals team, or second round exit at worst.
It wouldnt take that much for Bledsoe. Phoenix would be cool with Capela and Pelicans first round pick just to let go of Bledsoe.
