I would like to give credit to Adelman for trusting in Brooks and Landry enough to let them finish the game. It's first rotation adjustment he's made in the fourth quarter in quite some time.
I tell ya what... He's an offensive GENIUS!! We basically scored every point off the same play that he drew during the timeout. He schooled McMillan tonight!
Agreed, too bad he didn't figure this out in time to win the Hornets and Sixers games. All he had to do was take out the jittery Luther and we'd be 26-17 right now. Not to mention the other unexplainable rotation decisions earlier in the season that cost us games. But it's better late than never. Luther acted like he didn't know what to do on offense and the "resurgent" Rafer fell off a cliff with 1 AST and 5 TOs. Adelman didn't have a choice. Yao's foul trouble ended up being a good thing because Scola found his groove in crunch time after stinking it up earlier in the game.
"Thank You" Coach A is now awake and taking action!!!!!!!!!! At long last he has seen Rafer Alston for what he is worth and had taken action to straighten him out.[/SIZE=3] a] Rafer must remember that he is a member of a team playing a team game. b]Rafer as our Point Guard must remember not to set himself up for shots[he misses about 90% of them]but pass the ball first. c] Rafer must remember that when Yao Ming is calling for the ball he really wan'ts it- there and then.d] Rafer must remember that his parents named him Rafer and not Michael. Rafer must never take more shots than our stars. If Coach A gets Rafer to believe in this scenario then we will have a great starting Point Guard. Go !!! Coach A you are making some great decissions and they could pay off in the near future!!!!!!!!! [change of heart]!!
Yawn. I'm sure a 48 minute game was decided by one non-substitution. Great take. Like no other factors played a role in those games.
