Get behind him, cause if you get in front of him he'll slap you in the back of the head or cut your throat.

I think Aaron Brooks could get behind Rafer in less than one dribble.

lebron hits a miracle 3 with 1 second to go before the ball is inbounded and rafer alston is the reason orlando lost? come on now......howard was 3-8, missed half his fts, rashard 6-15......orlando didnt lose cause their 5th option didnt score enough.

2 PGs Morey missed this year: Billups and Alston, they are both in their conference finals...
Morey denied Billups deal and sent away Alston. hmm...
lol I'm not saying Alston = Billups. but having Billups, we would've beat the Lakers

Sigh... it's crazy how many people think Morey actually denied a deal involving Billups. There never was one.

If Rafer managed to shoot 3-7 from the floor, then I don't even bother to single him out since that is just a little bit above his shooting percentage careerwise. The problem is that he's had too many games this past season with the Rockets and the Magic in which he only made 1 or 2 shots out of 7-plus attempts.

If he played as well as he played last season, then I don't think the Rockets even trade him like they did at the trading deadline.

He is still taking the same bone headed shots that he did as a Rocket. He has missed a boatload of his infamous tear drop in the playoffs. He has made some good passes though. Same ole Rafer. I am rooting for the Magic, I am a fan of Howard. They don't go to him enough.

I still like Rafer, not as a player but as a person. I'd love Magic to advance. LeBron would get pissed off :D

Yes! Our former leader Rafer Alston (along with our former assistant coaches Steve Clifford and Patrick Ewing, not to mention the chubby brother of our former head coach) is carrying his supporting cast to a 2-1 lead over Lebron James and the Cavs.

Glad to see Rafer taking his rightful place among the NBA greats.

Glad to see Skip to my Lou doing well. He always played hard for us, if only he didn't get hurt in games 1,2, and 6 against the Jazz last year . . . but I'll always love him for schooling Sasha in that win over the Fakers for win #22.

Yeah. It is really nice to see Rafer playing well, I wish him the best. It is pretty amazing, Orlando now have a really good chance of winning it all.

They play as a team, they have so many weapons. One night Rafer is not, the other one it is Hedo or Rashard making a dagger. And of course you have Dwight Howard. Maybe he is not very consistent, but he is a good defender, rebounder and finisher.

I do think Orlando right now is the best team in the NBA. Cavs just look weak. They aren't really stopping anybody and their offense is called LeBron James. You can't win like that - It has to be TEAM effort. It is pretty amazing, they scored only 89 and LeBron still had nearly 50% of those points.

Lakers are playing better but once again, all they do is Kobe Bryant. Guy scores 40 pretty much every single night and he has to play D on both end. He may be tired if they get to the Finals.

I really like Magic's chances now.
