I wanna get flexed to play the Titans when they wear Oiler jerseys so the entire world can see us kick their collective ass that night.
The best chance of getting flexed is to insist they not be flexed. They love forcing Houston Teams to dance to their Yankified tunes.
To make a move for week 12, they'd have to do it tomorrow (11/14) in order to meet the 12 day minimum..
Honestly at this point they can keep it. I saw them wearing it already and they look ridiculous. Just win. Wear the boring ass steel blue and kick their ass.
The 12 day notice for a flex change isn't for the entire year: For Sunday nights in Weeks 5 - 13 and for Monday nights in Weeks 12 - 17, the NFL will decide (after consultation with CBS, FOX, NBC, and ESPN) and announce no later than 12 days in advance of the game, which game will be played on Sunday night and which game will be played on Monday night. For Sunday night in Weeks 14 - 17, the flexible scheduling decision will generally be made no later than 6 days prior to the game. Fans and ticket holders must be aware that NFL games in the Flex Scheduling Windows are subject to change generally at least 12 days in advance (and at least 6 days in advance for Sundays in Weeks 14-17) and should plan accordingly https://www.nbcphiladelphia.com/news/sports/nfl/nfl-flex-games-how-changing-schedule-works/3664625/
I guess I still have in my head the Bronco team that gave up 70. They're 5-5! So this isn't a "dog" match-up - but I also don't think it's getting flexed, given the existing schedule.
Well, as I expertly (others are saying that; not me, obviously) broke down, week 12 is very viable - but also has a lot of good match-ups: Will be REALLY interesting to see the NFL's appetite for getting CJ in prime time. They'd be choosing him (+ Lawrence) over Burrow, Mahomes, Allen, Hurts...
It's going to be Bills vs Eagles or KC vs Raiders. Unless Stroud goes ham again against Arizona, like another 400+ yds & 4+ TD game, then no way they're getting in over those teams.
Well, no - they have to give a 12-day notice so the Arizona game won't be a factor. KC/LV and Buf/Phi are both on CBS at 3 so that makes one of them getting flexed more viable. But the Raiders were just on SNF; the Bills were just on MNF, and the Chiefs V Eagles are on MNF next week. I'm calling it now: Houston/Jacksonville is being flexed into the MNF slot. Plan accordingly.
That's true about the Texans game, forgot about that 12day stuff. Hope Texans get flex, but I really don't care. It also doesn't really matter that those teams were just on SNF or MNF, if the network believes those games will be the most draws then they'll put them in primetime. Only benefit is the Bills has been crap, but that could also draw interest because now there's drama since they will have to win against Eagles for a playoff chance. People eat that sht up. More I think about it, it'll be Bills vs Eagles.
I think the Jets game gets flexed. NY market, CJ stroud story and Saleh has faced some damn good qbs (Hurts, Mahomes, Herbert and Allen) and they’ve all had bad days. So the narrative could be what can the phenom CJ do against a real defense. The Jets and the Browns teams are the only teams left that’s have damn good D’s on our schedule. So I’m looking forward to that. The Broncos have PS2 who a freaking lockdown CB but overall that D is sus.
They're playing the Giants and they are horrible. Logistics make to much sense, not to do it if thats an option
