A more accurate take IMO is whether the intensity and toughness that TheGoodGuys brought to ThaGahden can be maintained through a 7-game series (when t’other side is “equally” as engaged).

So reactionary... what is even the point of posting this? Good win - I'm starting to feel like this team is a title contender. Bad loss - we're frauds. A+ content!

Are some of you are just now realizing that this team is designed to win a game, not a series? Harden is a game winner, not a series winner.

This is basically what I've been saying all year. Covington increases the variance tho and so I think we could actually get a surprise 2nd round win. We could also lose in the 1st round - that wouldn't shock me.

The defense was but rebounding was the main issue.

It is being a realist, not just a fanboy.

    LOL

Loser's mentality does not surprise me one iota.

Good to know that some things never change, DD with another wrong post.

Will leave you with this - Quitters never EVER win.

The timing is probably not great, hope is a human thing.

If you nip it in the bud too early, others are going to get mad.

A couple of teams have a more humongous team structure that is better equipped to win it all.

Microball can be dangerous though, who am I to say?

But say, if one of JH or WB gets injured or WB getting ejected, it is going to be very hard.

    This construct is frail af.

Defensive rebounding is part of defense, so if rebounding was the main issue, then defense was the main issue.

I don't think it is the only way...... they are equally likely to destroy teams in the paint.

I do agree with you that the Rockets will have to REALLY be locked in to win the title.

The Bucks are clearly the best team in basketball and should be the favorites. However they flamed out in the playoffs last year and will quite possibly have to go through a very tough match up with Miami and the Sixers or Raptors to get to the Finals.

The Rockets are roughly on equal footing with the Lakers and Clippers at this point.

I think they are behind all 3 as contenders go, probably behind Denver too.

But I guess we shall see - all I care is that they get to the conference finals and contend - that to me is the best you can hope for - being in the mix, if you flame out in round 1 or 2, you aren't really a contender.....final 4 or bust for me.

It depends on who and how they play in round two.

There are 3-4 teams in the west all good enough to come out of the west.

The Rockets have as good a chance as the Lakers or Clippers to come out of the West.

A lot of it will depend on the match ups in the playoffs.

Sometimes I think... man, the GARM has really changed. But then, we get a reactionary thread from DD, and I'm like, nah, this is still the GARM I know.
