Will we be the 76ers' first win?

It might be a good test to see where they are as a team, their mental state, their cohesiveness.

I'd imagine it's stressful to play a 0 win team as you have everything to lose, not wanting to be "that" team, where as playing the undefeated Warriors would get you pumped up.

I'm expecting a blowout, whether they win or lose.

Mentioned this in Game Thread, but that's a mind numbingly dumb comment. Yes they are frustrating but nobody's season is lost, except for a select few bottom feeders like the Sixers. At least the Rockets have the talent to turn it around.

I just keep going back to what changed from the WCF team and this one? Its like over the summer, someone flipped a switch.

Was there something i missed during last years playoffs that pointed to where we were to end up?

    We lost J-Smoove.

I knew losing him was going to hurt and no one believed me.

Who else is frightened of this game on Friday? Need the Sixers to beat Boston on Wednesday. If not, this is exactly the type of game that the rockets will lose. In actually confident that we'd lose. Rockets are already the laughingstock of the NBA. Losing to the Sixers would be par for the course.

Not at all frightened. The Rockets are bad and very well could lose. I don't expect it, but certainly wouldn't be surprised.

I don't know, this team needs some kind of spark. Maybe getting humiliated by another lowly eastern conference team could do it.

I'm rooting for the sixers to beat us.

    Maybe that would motivate Harden.

Been there and done that with the Nets.

This team can't shoot, can't defend, can't rebound, and has no heart.

There is no offensive strategy or defensive effort.

Landry, Canaan, and Covington all have a gd game but they need to step aside as cornerstone Harden goes off for 40/10/10

    It would be hilarious.

Covington lights us up means gold for my fantasy team.

No he doesn't play he's injured. Anyway if they lose that one then the players plz don't bother even making one single excuse for yourselves anymore. Fans should go to the stadium just to boo. Too bad you can't throw eggs too.

You think the sixers will trade us Noel and Okafor for Howard?

I started watching the Rockets the first year they came to Houston, way back when. Then I practically lived at the Summit during the '80s before moving to Los Angeles in '87. Always hated the Lakers and Clips, and hated the Knicks when I moved to NYC a few years later. Still a die-hard Rox fans after all these years.

But I've never seen a game in the Toyota Center. My trips back to Houston in the last decade or so always seemed to be during the summer.

Until NOW. I'm coming in this weekend to see my very first game in the Toyota Center.

And I swear to God, if they give the Sixers their first win, I will fire both Harden and Morey myself.

Haven't been a rockets fan as long as you; I started following them in 92'. But I can't remember a worse looking team on the court. Forget about the talent. I'm just talking raw play. They have never looked this bad; Les was right.

A few more games like this and it's Van Gundy time ?

I doubt it. It'd bring us back to 20 point losses.
