I meant open market, not trade market. As in, free agents, D-League players, etc. They went half a season running Fisher out there instead of signing someone else and benching him.
I don't know how I felt when I originally saw this, but watching the replay makes me feel like it's no big deal. Fisher leans a little into this pick, but Scola acts like he just got run over by Shaq. Looks like a Scola flop, where he exaggerated contact to try to draw a foul. As others have said, this is old news that both players have gotten over.
You want to know how I felt? I wanted to curb stomp midget old man Fisher's fat head onto the ground American History X style.
It's not about whether how hard he hit Scola, if Scola exaggerated contact or not or whatever. It's about the intention and the potential damage, had it fully connected to his throat, mouth, nose or worse: fore or side of the head. The most telling is how the Rockets reacted, as if they didn't think it was that serious since it was Scola or they were just too scared. Either way, the team failed by not acting imo. You need to stand up for your teammate, especially in the playoffs. We lost that series with the way we just let Vujabitch and this baldy make us bleed and not do anything about it.
