Man, I love it when a president uses diplomacy to protect the interests of our country. It is nice to get our system back from the hawkish extremists who ran the country from 2001 through 2009.

    are you seriously this dumb?

what, exactly, could obama say to stop anything that may happen tonight? nevermind the fact that whatever our president decided to do, you'd ****ing complain about it because you don't care if he's successful. you just want to disagree and want him to fail.

you have no interest in what's best for this country. you want him to fail so you can score points on a basketball message board. it's ****ing pathetic.

Do you honestly think that harsher rhetoric towards Iran will save lives?

Since we're acting like idiots, I'm going to guess it's less than the 100,000 dead iraqis that your hero killed.

i doesn't know. but, if you want to play the body count game, answer the question: how many did Saddam kill? and, of those that died post-invasion (we can use the IBC numbers) how many did the insurgents kill?

After the invasion - he killed zero.

How many would he have killed if there were no invasion?

It would require an astronomically high number of executions.

He would literally have to stage mass executions 365 days a year for 6 consecutive years to reach 150,000 or whatever the number is. Basically he'd have to find some way to have nearly 1,000 executions per day, every single day. It would pretty much be impossible for him to match that.

Anyway, since I answered your question, answer mine squatty - will the amount of people in Tehran who will die because of Obama tonight (TEE HEE HAA! MAKE SURE TO DRINK YOUR GLASS OF STUPID) be

    LESS than,

    or

    MORE than

the 150,000 people GWB had murdered and blown to bits. (MM STUPID JUICE)

I'm not sure what you mean, Basso. My point was that Bret Stephens' credibility in Israel was undermined by his inability to read basic Hebrew. Not exactly ideal for an editor of an Israeli newspaper, even if it is in English and is mostly read by settlers.

If you are implying that I'm an anti-Semite, then I offer this in my defense. If you have problems reading it, I suggest you not seek help from Bret Stephens.
