The only scrub in the clutch was Ariza. Should have put in Scola and benched the blacksmith.

That being said we need to tank. Sorry but let's be realistic, if we somehow sneak in the playoffs it will be as #7 or #8 and Denver or the Lakers will crush us. More likely we will miss the playoffs but barely and will end up at the end of the lottery.

Let's say we tank and get a top 5 pick. Then in the offseason you trade for Bosh, bring back Yao with Martin. We NEED that young top talent. Picture Rondo's impact on the Celtics. That's what we need.

you know, we aren't gonna make the playoffs this year. portland just got the 5 they needed to make a stay at the 8th spot.

    lakers
    nuggets
    dallas
    utah
    phoenix
    san antonio
    oklahoma
    portland

all playing better than we are now.

we mind as play some of the young guys, get martin and yao healthy, draft well next year and get ready to make a championship run next year.

i hate to say this, but we suck this year, we just don't have the talent to play with the top tier teams in the west and or east for that matter.

Personally for me, the biggest goal is NOT to get the 8 seed. I'm not so hung up on the 9th seed or the 10th seed(we probably won't go lower than that). But making the playoffs means a huge dropoff in terms of draft position, due to the imbalance between east and west. It's not so much John Wall, but simply a slightly higher pick and more options for Morey to work with.

Of course, the way the Rockets are playing, I don't even think they need to tank. The season will likely play out where we miss the playoffs. And that's a-okay with me.

At least if we're gonna tank, can't it be an American tank.

watever. playoffs or not. i would rather we get it together and make the playoffs but it wouldnt be all that bad to get a higher lottery pick this year. we are also going to be set with a high pick next year if ny doesnt land anyone who can pull that team out of the gutters. and the year after. we have the possibility of drafting 3 really nice pieces for our future.

we are not tanking. just doing the best we can with what we have. kinda like san antonio did to get tim duncan... ahem..or was that tanking??

    No tanking...

Coach will need to tinker with the lineups because we have so many new players and we're missing two rotation players.

I'm not a fan of tanking but if we can get a valuable asset drom the draft this year, we'll be pretty unstoppable in trades for superstars or sign&trade for a superstar FA this year.

Lets face it, we can't do anything good even if we have Lebron without a good CENTER this year. So I'm all the ay for a young gun lineup this year.

    Starters:

    Brooks
    Martin
    Budinger
    Jordan Hill
    Scola

We gotta show to other teams that Hill can be a good player. He can be a major value for a sign&trade.

And you watched Collison tonight. His form can make CP3 available this summer or in the next trade deadline. We can go for him, and he can be really cheap considering his talent.
