I totally agree with shrinking the rotation to a point. With all the injuries, it's forced the team to look at several options, so it's been tough to cut the rotation down.

What I am a little disappointed in, is not going with certain matchups late. I thought Hill looked good against the spurs and could have helped tonight against the Wizards bigs. That's just one example, not that I'm singling that out.

Someone brought up the point on not having a solid two way player, that may be able to be that closer late in games, I think that's a valid point. No one is taking over in the fourth, on both ends. Many many issues right now, but Im not going to say it can't get better.

    Agree with you on Hill.

And if you are looking for situational defense on an athletic big that doesn't have a post game, I am not sure why Hayes was in there instead of Jeffries.

The Wizards bigs aren't just tall; they are wide and strong. Blatche bullied Jordan Hill easily. He could breathe on Jeffries to knock him back.

Miller seemed to actually match-up the best with them, even though he wasn't great.

I am a huge fan of Chuck, I think he's in the game because he makes less mistakes than the others. That said, true bigs usually give Chuck fits, he'll come up with the occasional steal or stop but has a hard time stopping them in the post.

As far as Jeffries goes, he has his place on this team, situational defender is probably it. Is he the answer? Not so sure. That also goes against what you said in shrinking the rotation, so I guess I would have opted for Hill first.

The only way I can explain the piss-poor decision making and stupidity on the part of the coaching staff is (a)RA is getting senile and no one's worked up the balls to tell him or (b)the team is intentionally tanking without telling the fans (gotta sell tickets, after all).

Until further notice, I'm going to assume it's (b). So who is on the top of the next draft for us? Is must be someone really awesome for Morey to be going through this elaborate plot... Maybe he's planning to do SOOOO bad until the trade deadline that we can trade for a superstar and still finish so poorly we get a second superstar in the draft!!

    YES!! Daryl Morey the uber-genius!
