Those pics are priceless! It was great seeing Avery have a meltdown. What the Mavs and Heat are seeing is everybody gunning for them...all year long. That was one of the best games that I have attended at the TC...crowds last night reminds me of the championship era in the old stadium..it was rockin' baby!
The thing most interesting to me, is that it seems the majority of posts are negative, after a loss and positive after a victory. There seems to be no in-between(of course it's only two games so far, a rather small specimen to judge on). The only result you can extract(IF you can after two games), is that the team force probably is somewhere between the two performances and will be satisfactory. Now if the team can win in such a spectacular way a few games more as visitors, that would mean it's a team that is bound to do well. Game 1= Nothing works(No defence) Game 2= Everything works(Good defence) Defence will be critical for winning this year, and apparently, Alston's performance as well.
What's bothering is there's more new threads after a loss while nobody wants to say positive things when it's a win.
Well I think the most valuable threads so far, is the ones describing what the elements the team should keep are. All the others are just for discussion purposes as I see it(possibilities and such) and an excellent opportunity for guys like me to learn about the team. But it's also natural isn't it? If the team wins, it's difficult to spot what you can improve so the team will do better, wereas in a loss, things that didn't work are apparent(even if it's due to a bad day on the players/coache's behalf).
That's only because positive comments are a direct result from the win. Most of them don't mean anything....Just overly positive comments. In a lost however, people get pissed and uses this forum as a mean of expression.
