That the Muslim Brotherhood hatched up a conspiracy to a bunch of camel riding thugs, planted police ID on them, and told them to beat up the anti-Mubarak protesters , among whom are members of Muslim Brotherhood itself, while pretending to be pro-Mubarak. And they would hatch up this conspiracy, and risk people discovering it, while the size of the protests were getting bigger and foreign support for Mubarak was collapsing.
you turning every thread into this. i'm not going to get into an argument with your points, I don't really care, other than your obssession turning every thread into a discussion on islamic extremists. and you know what others are referencing so stop with the cute "what exactly"
Back on topic... So what is the latest news from the square? Any information on whether the military has moved one way or the other? Updates?
14m ago @sharifkouddous: Hundreds of people are sleeping next to each other in the grassy area in the middle of the square. Packed together close. And 1 hr ago @sharifkouddous: Tahrir is regaining its strength. It's getting lively again after yesterday's brutal assault.
So you are unable to point out something concrete that you disagree with, so you make a generalized, stupid comment. If you think that it is not relevant to the thread to discuss the role of the Muslim Brotherhood in the protests and their future role in a post-Mubarak Egypt, then you really have absolutely no clue. Maybe you should stick to whining about perceived racism, at least you have experience with that.
Right...I asked questions. They are nowhere close to the nonsense you posted. My point was that we are not sure in the current chaos who exactly is doing what. You know as much as I do about who is riding into a demonstration on a camel.
I disagree with you turning this thread into something that is months in the future, we don't even know if the gov't will be overthrown. and if you truly cared about what happens you will stick to the present strong man in power and stop letting your obssession take over another thread.
What exactly is months in the future? Is it not important to think about the alternative to the current government? Do you think the people in Egypt do not care if the new government will be like the Taliban or will be like, let's say, the government of Spain? Why do you think it is months in the future? If Mubarak steps down or is forced to step down, I think it will be within a week.
AroundTheWorld is ruining another thread with his crap while claiming that he's well versed on the practices and ways of the Muslim Brotherhood, lol. But he gets owned again...Should we bump that thread about Nigeria where he was owned another time, lol.
http://www.jpost.com/Headlines/Article.aspx?id=206130 Muslim Brotherhood: ‘Prepare Egyptians for war with Israel' A leading member of the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt told the Arabic-language Iranian news network Al-Alam on Monday that he would like to see the Egyptian people prepare for war against Israel, according to the Hebrew-language business newspaper Calcalist. Muhammad Ghannem reportedly told Al- Alam that the Suez Canal should be closed immediately, and that the flow of gas from Egypt to Israel should cease “in order to bring about the downfall of the Mubarak regime.” He added that “the people should be prepared for war against Israel,” saying the world should understand that “the Egyptian people are prepared for anything to get rid of this regime.” Ghannem praised Egyptian soldiers deployed by President Hosni Mubarak to Egyptian cities, saying they “would not kill their brothers.” He added that Washington was forced to abandon plans to help Mubarak stay in power after “seeing millions head for the streets.” ------------- To all of the idiots who do not think this is relevant to this thread: If the leader of the largest organized opposition group in a country of 80 million people that might just be about to overthrow its government calls for war with a neighboring country, this is absolutely relevant. There are also numerous reports that the Muslim Brotherhood is using this situation to spread rumors that Israel, the USA, and generally "foreigners" are responsible for the current chaos, and this has already led to foreigners being chased by Egyptians. All this is relevant to this thread. For pointing out that these are issues to be aware of, I have been called the equivalent of a Nazi at least twice, the equivalent of a "Mubarak thug" and several other things in this thread. Un-frickin-believable.
ATW, please let it go for this thread. At least leave this thread untainted for some of us trying to follow what is actually happening. Start another thread for your fears on what might happen. They are legitimate concerns.
I have no proof that Obama is a Kenyan Marxist Islamist but he kind of sound like one, doesn't he? I just asked a question.
