I like Dalen Terry quite a lot as a project. 6'7.5 with nice passing ability already. Could be anything - nice rangy defender with shooting potential (his shot is whack currently, but he makes enough). Think Ariza potential?

Patrick Baldwin might be available here. If so, an absolute no-brainer. Needs work, but a bad choice of college has cost him. 6'10 shooter? A lottery talent IMHO.

Jake Laravia is kind of a boring safe option. I see him as a 4 in the NBA and would pass (6'8)

Someone is going to fall to the spot - and I hope we focus on length.
Kendall Brown 6'7.5 defensive SF (lotto projection early in the season)
Walker Kessler (huge 7'1 C with shooting and dribbling potential)

    For the smaller options
Kennedy Chandler is one of the best PG options - but small at just over 6'. However exceptionally athletic. He could end up the best PG from this class - I'd be tempted by him if we get length at 17 (to add to Paulo at 3) and manage to trade EGO for size
Jaden Hardy is a HUGE talent at SG. But I can't see the point...

He is not a forward, he is not a center. He is a net negative, and he is going to his 7th team on the next flight out of the H.

He is also a locker room cancer according to our insiders.

That 26th pick looks juicy as hell, all things considered. Some Fritos would look juicy as hell, tbh.

Agreed on PBJ. Hard to imagine him not becoming a 10+ year NBA player.

Jalen Williams or Jaden Hardy both intriguing here if available.

We're probably gonna move up to get Eason.

Panicked? This is great. Wood does not impact winning.

Give me Hardy at 26. Has all the talent to be a top pick worth seeing if he can put it all together.

OKC has something like 5 in next year's draft alone, I think.

    Trade 17 and 26 for Charlotte's 13th or 15th.

I do like the fact we didn’t any extended bad contracts - we will have to wait and see-

I don't know if Kenneth Lofton Jr. at 26 is too high but i think he has a tremendous amount of potential and with Wood gone would have an actual shot at cracking the rotation.

Yes but Wood will be 27 and wants a max. If he was 19 and on a rookie deal it would be a diff story.

At 26? Swing for the fences — nothing to lose. Jaden Hardy or Patrick Baldwin Jr would be insane.

You’re talking about two players who were formerly projected as top 5 picks less than a year ago.

Yeah might as well honestly. Even with Jalen-Segun-3rd pick, we need as much young talent as possible. Having a young 3rd big to contribute would be great, and Jalen could play next to another guard. Obviously perimeter defense is super important.

That was blown out of proportion- he will not get the max, but I get the trade he doesn’t fit our current timeline. Just thought we could have done better-

This is not the Texans. This is a respectable franchise.

I don't see any way we keep this pick. If we package it with number 17, we can certainly move up for my targets which would be Eason or Duren. If we package it with 17 and one of our future firsts, I'm not sure what we can get. I think that's a point of diminishing returns.

I have a feeling that Stone wants somebody around 13 to 15. My guess is that that is one of the two guys I mentioned or Mark Williams. All of which I would be thrilled with.

If we keep the pick, Jovic as a G League stash makes total sense as a swing for the fences type move. I would love that as well.
