I hate to say this but Miller is a liability on defense and it was nice to see some guys (patterson mainly) actually step up and play some.....Nobody ever talks about trading Miller??? I would trade him for a young 7'0 prospect plus a pick......maybe McGee+pick/Thabeet+1rd pick...........what do you guys think??

Adelman sucks at rotations. Got to shortenthe roster. The veterans who have high value make sense. Its Scola, Martin, Jeffries, or Battier. They all make sense getting rid of for one great player or defensive big. They should move on high draft picks for maybe one of these guys? Patrick can be a starter who plays better defense than Scola. Same at everything else. Maybe even the same at scoring eventually. Better athleticism than Scola. Patrick isthe future. I think he will turn out to be a real good pickup in the future. Certainly more potential than Jordan Hill. Thats saying alot because Hill is developing better too. Its just that Pat is also a smart player with fundamentals already.

I am fine with the idea of looking at what can be gained by trading these guys. The problem is, teams with higher draft picks than us have even further to go to rebuild and probably aren't looking to ship those draft picks for Scola, Martin, Jeffries or Battier. Those type of players have the most value to playoff teams, but those teams have less to offer in valuable draft picks or young developing players.
