Les took some crap from the board for refusing to tank, but on balance there have been very few better owners over the course of the last 20 years. I hope his twilight years treat him well.

Huge props. Hated the idea of owning a losing team so much that he refused to take Morey's advice and tank to improve. Miraculously, Morey made it work anyway.
Les was a GREAT owner Never was money ever a issue, he would spend it if it meant a potentially great team ON HIS WAY OUT.. literally days before he sells he gave Houston 4 million in Harvey donation money. He made sure to sell to an owner that is committed to keeping the team in Houston Les, thank you. I hated you forcing the Dantoni hire, but it worked out. You also brought us Morey, You instilled alot of character into this franchise YOU WILL BE MISSED.. but your laugh will not
I really miss Les. When he bought the team he allowed them to run it back. Didn't think some old veteran that was always overrated would add to the team... allowed the team to draft Sam I Am.
I appreciate that he is gone...... he was just getting too old. Wouldn't want his health to go bad due to some regular season record.
I think it is time to really appreciate Les Alexander despite the vengeance he leveled on the social media manager.
