While I can certainly understand the skepticism of non TJ Ford believers (who wouldn't think a bunch of Texans on the BBS wouldn't overrate T.J. Ford's draft value), I think all of you will be eating your words in two or three years. Ford is a unique point guard and I see him being among the best assist guys in the NBA for years to come. I just hope he doesn't get drafted by the Clippers where, if history is any indicator, he will have little to throw assists to. Ford will make any team he plays for better than they were the year before. He's that kind of player.
Idiot. Are you actually comparing T.J. Ford to Chris Mihm. I went to UT between 1994 and 1999 and when Mihm was there, I always thought he was overrated. Ford is a different story. Ford was maybe the best, most mature passer I have ever seen play in college going back over 20 years.........but I know, I'm just a homer.
Hell Elton Brand, why don't we just get Nowitzki, or maybe Duncan. He would be a nice upgrade. And why stop at T.J., why don't we just go after Lebron, he's a playmaker, but wait, no lets just get Jason Kidd, then we will be set. Although, it might be quiet difficult to get all three. I find it amusing that everyone is still responding to the Snowman when it is obvious that he wont return to his own thread. He got attacked twice in the first 5 responses, so he has left the building, never to return. for some reason, he cant stand the heat....guess he's afraid of melting...
No. After some thought, he finally realized that we're actually all German, or know someone German, or know where Germany is, or had heard of Germany, so he's boycotting the entire BBS.
I love TJ Ford. What really pains me about missing the playoffs was now we have no chance of trading our pick and someone else (Eddie?) to move up to get him. The positives, as everyone knows, are that he is lighning quick and makes all of the other players on his team better. I think his main downside would be defense against bigger guards, not his shooting ability. BTW, I'm an Aggie, so if anything I should be biased against TJ, but man, I would love to see him wearing the red and silver!
