I'm saying hiring a coach with an extremely questionable track record is a really questionable way of trying to "win now".

 

Why does Keith Jones get a pass? How many injuries have happened under his watch?

Agreed. I think it just shows that even though Les and Morey obviously want to win they just don't know how to go about doing that.

 

exactly. he's the real cancer. but you watch . . . the moment he goes to another team, their strength and conditioning will improve and all their injuries will go away.

The season has barely started. This sort of thoughtless, impatient whining is what makes this place, at times, hard to visit. We lost one game we should've won (Lakers) and that's it. These guys will gel, D will figure out a solid rotation and we'll be right in there at 46/47 wins.

Or they're not simply just about winning at all costs... they want to win "their way".... which is still largely unproven.

Agreed. I have been on the fire the greasy Keith Jones bandwagon for a long time. He adds no value to this team. In fact dude is a liability. How the hell do you have a physical trainer who has never stepped into the gym?? This dude would rather line up at the buffet line.

He was done to me the game where he didn't even know how to fit Dwight's contact lenses after they had fallen off.

Well, he is the Rockets Senior Vice President of Basketball Operations in addition to Head Athletic Trainer. Not sure what that means.

While I do agree with this in theory- the season is still young- the reason I think that everyone is upset right now is because of last season. Last year, all season long, we kept hearing how we just needed to relax. After any game that the Rockets looked pretty good or got a good win we would hear about how they thought they were turning a corner, which would then be followed by one or four bad losses. After these bad losses we would hear how the players needed to get on the same page. We kept hearing this or that about what they needed to do to fix it but we still had the same terrible team out on the court.

So we've been through all the talk before. Sure, fans should relax and give the new players and new coach time to 'gel together' (another thing we heard last year) and let the team have more of a chance. Ignore the obvious warning signs such as bad defense and lack of rebounding and just relax and be patient.

That's much harder to do considering we were supposed to relax and be patient for the entire year last year.

 

Is the money still rollin in? Then Les doesn't care...

Les just does whatever he thinks will make him the most money...

Morey is the chubby kid who wants to prove that's he's smarter than everyone else....

Did y'all expect the Rockets to go 6-0 with a completely new offense along with new players? You realize that Lebron is 6-0 for the FIRST time in his career this year? Did you know that the Spurs have never gone 5-0 in franchise history?

New team means there will be have to be time for everyone to gel together. Idk what you guys are expecting/complaining about.
