    Dolan is bad but Tilman is getting up there. What happens now will determine if Rockets fans start burning down Landry's or not.

    Neither Les nor Tilman were that great, but if I had to choose one, I'd pick Les over Tilman.

    harden is the only reason that currently isn't true. it's only a matter of time within the next 3 years til hes gone. everything goes to crap after that

    I think most people agree that it is Les’ fault for selling to Tillman. But that doesn’t make Tillman suck less. Regardless of what Les did Tillman still sucks.

    I didn't go through the whole thread but the guy had already been part of two championship teams for the city, the first in the city's history for football, basketball and baseball at the time. And he had a return on his investment was about 74 years old at the time.

    At what point do you retire and sell honestly? At what age would you retire?

    As far as Tillman, I'm not sure who the candidates at the time were, or how many bilionaires could buy the team or had Houston ties.

    Les set him up for success with two stars, a HOF caliber coach and GM with a title contender. After that it's on the next leader or owner to succeed or fail imo.

    I appreciate Les being a part of two championship teams, imperfections and all. I just wanted the championships, he can keep the trophies honestly.

    If we lost the finals and he left the Western Conference championship trophies here I don't thik it would matter to fans as much as winning the titles and the parades.

    i seriously doubt anyone here can predict 3 years in the future.

    the Rockets are NOWHERE near the Knicks in futility and hatred from the fans.

    That's what you don't get.

    He wasn't responsible for the championships. He inherited the team from the previous regime and fired the GM.

    Dream, OT, Vernon, Kenny, Sam, Horry , Rudy T

    Tell me how did we get this Olajuwon guy? was it Les?

    I don't disagree that Tilman sucks

    I disagree that Les didn't suck

    We lost Morey to China because Les marketed us as China's team
    China City Jerseys
    China marketing all over Toyota Center for Tencent and other companies

    China doesn't care if the Vlade Divac is supporting Hong Kong

    i disagree. we can definitely put together a bunch of tells and get a glimpse of what the rockets future is. just like how we saw the last 2 years was getting the rockets to this point right now. The rockets are absolutely trending in the knicks direction as i said once harden is gone, itll be that much closer.

    ownership has none absolutely nothing since hes been here to give anyone any kind of optimism that he isn't worse than dolan. in fact hes wrecked a championship organization in much less time. let that sink in

    Once any superstar leaves or goes in decline the team usually gets worse

    The Knicks have been crap since what? JVG left?

    Picking the Knicks is a bad analogy

    When was the last time we had a high first round draft pick?

    if you find a random knicks fan, please go into this Tilman vs Dolan debate

    you know what Dolan isn't? He isn't cheap, he's paid lots of bad players and coaches top dollar

    Knicks fans don't dog on him for money being spent.

    Are they still paying Allan Houston's salary? Phil Jackson? Isiah Thomas?
    Mike D'Antoni? Carmelo?

    when you are comparing owners you should know about the other owner to prove your point.

    you haven't proven your point that Dolan = Tilman. They are nothing alike. Even for Fan Hatred.
    I've been to many Rockets games and nobody is boing Tilman.

    NOBODY.

    Knicks Fans hate their owner for sure.

    I'm guessing the % who hate Tilman who goes to games is like 5% and 100% of them are from Clutchfans.
