10 day contracts are coming soon, and Marc Stein suggests Dallas may pick Leon Smith up.

Leon Smith came out as a HSer, but had a mental breakdown basically...followed by drugs, etc. He's 6'11'', 250 lbs, and still the age of a college junior.

Hard to argue with these numbers: 17.8 ppg, 15.9 rebounds, in the CBA.

Who will be willing to gamble?

Rockets myswell, especially if its only a 10 day contract. Does Dallas have something like a "right of first refusal"?

I remember hearing on the radio a few weeks ago that Smith got into a fight with one of his teammates either on the court or in the lockerroom recently...

The Rockets should sign Leon Smith.

He might be the perfect sparring partner for Eddie Griffin...:D

    Hey, a Mavs fan. Look!!

Griffin has been quiet, reserved, and has caused no trouble to speak of since he's been here. Leon came to Dallas and painted himself up like an Indian (of the American variety) and took 100 or so aspirin......

Now, what team misread personality flaws? I'll give you a hint. ;)

I think Soybean Fanatic is just mad that Walt punched Shawn Bradley.

Seriously, that Walt punch made me instantly stop complaining about him for a whole day! :D

I'd sign him. The past can easily be forgotten. The skills will not.
