I predict alot of 75% completion , 150 yd games.... Sure be enough to win the division... The checkdowns can only help Foster's case for AFC POY

Leinart is the Brady to Schaub's Bledsoe.

It will be interesting to see what Yates can do after Leinart flops.

He looks like he'd be perfect for the bootlegs that kubiak always calls

Apparently, that's what Leinart did a lot of in college and something that wasn't prevalent in his time in Arizona.

My main concerns are his lack of precision and checking down too soon. He needs to show better pocket presence and take the time to look down-field.

At least, we're getting AJ back and he has the extra week to soak in what's about to happen.-

This. The folks comparing him to Rex Grossman and predicting mass turnovers crack me up, because it's obvious they've never watched Leinart play and are just trying to be dramatic. The issue for Leinart in the NFL has been right the opposite - he struggles with the concept of a pocket collapsing and checks down/throws away before letting things develop.

I do think bootlegs will help, in the sense that they usually buy more time reduce the fear of the pocket collapsing. Of course, for the Texans to be a true Super Bowl contender, he has to get better at the latter... but the scheme in and of itself should help him be passable against the likes of Jacksonville, Carolina, Indianapolis, etc.

Not overly concerned. The Texans will lose AT MOST 2 games

I haven't seen Leinart play in the NFL that much but would it be better getting back David Carr?

    Is Leinart better than Carr?

He couldn't move the offense too well in alot of times I seen him in the pre season. Yates did a better job moving the ball in his little time on the field. Watching Leinart is like watching Carr all over again with a weaker arm.

Carr's on another roster; let's give Leinart a chance. The competition isn't stiff; hopefully, he can hold serve and Schaub can get back this year. They haven't been winning through the air, anyway, and at least he gets the news over the bye and with AJ coming back. If it had happen, this was a pretty good week.

Leinart couldn't have fallen into a better situation. The O-line has been amazing all year, Myers and Winston have been mentioned as all pros but Duane Brown has yet to give up a sack this year as well.

Great protection, tenacious turnover creating and still improving defense, best RB duo in the league, and AJ and Daniels as well.

It's now or never for Leinart, just manage the team and minimize mistakes. Playoffs are a lock and a playoff victory could earn you a nice contract somewhere.

I'm confident. Leinart has the best team he's ever had around him. Much more player makers on offense and defense. Better coaching too (we all know Kubiak is a hell of a QB coach).
