Jamarcus Russell was always garbage had one decent bowl game and a big arm. Vince could never throw but ran the qb option read perfectly enough to win a championship. Arizona was a bad spot, it took Warner magic to turn it around. I'm not saying leinart is going to throw for 300+ or 3 td's but he won't have to. He can manage on small bootlegs and checkdowns. He's more than capable of dumping it into the flat to Foster and letting him take it 78 yards too, or a 30 yarder to JJ and let him make a move and score.

 

I went to Rice and James Casey threw a 40 yard pass to himself in an LPAP class (Rice's physical education requirement, not sure why athletes have to take it but he did), so I at least know he has an arm.

Can he be worse than Tebow?

 

If he is, he certainly didn't show it during preseason.

 

The Texans know if any bones are broke, why not just explain the situation instead of playing stupid word games.

Schaub was the one player we couldn't afford to lose.

We are still gonna win the division but our chances of a home field advantage heading into the playoffs and possibly winning a game are doomed.

 

As a texans fan, my anus is in a constant state of preparedness.

 

Preseason doesn't count for much when your playing with second and third teamers trying to make the team. Our oline, running game, and d will hold up enough to keep us winning.

 

I have my doubts. I bought into the preseason hype around him and how good he looked to only see the same old thing from him.

I hope that was just a case of him being with the second string.
