This is pretty old but I am sure a lot of people did not know about this game until recently. The two NBA legends go toe to toe with each other in an epic duel in front of thousands of people and the result is jaw dropping. Dr J's game was base on athleticism and he had lost it that many years out of the league. Kareem doesn't lose his height.
Dr J had one of the sweetest mid range jumpers ever. And his handle and palming ability is legendary. This is a game of old farts and when you get old, size and hook shots always win. And just a bad showing for Julius shooting the rock. Those straps on his hands can't help. Allowing Kareem to back all the way off since he was so cold here.
dr j is 6'7 with huge hands... He was a great shooter which is ironic that he misses so many shots. I mean, come on.
That was pretty awful, honestly. They don't even look like good rec league players at this point. Just flinging up wild shots and shuffling their feet now and again. Granted, I only watched like 5 minutes after they began playing. Maybe they look great later.
