    I agree.

I hate cops as much as the next guy, maybe more so, but jesus, those lights are annoying. They announce to all the other drivers on the road that this driver is an ass. Aeroman10 should pay the ticket and have the lights taken off his car. They are not cool.

Couldn't agree more. Sorry, aeroman, your lights are blue. You may not see it, but I'm guessing it's because you don't want to see it. Why can't you just use plain ol' headlights? They are...

    1. Plenty bright enough
    2. Safer for other drivers
    3. Fully legal
    4. Not ugly

All the factory Lexus, BMW and Lincoln HID lights are high quality European or USA made 4200-4300K bulbs. Your kit is a garbage chinese made glare monster. You should take it off and learn the lesson.

I would suggest that you switch the lights back to factory standard before going into court and tell the prosecutor you did it already when you go into court. They might dismiss.

yeah you should totally plead ignorance. Claim the shop that did it (have the reciept in hand) never mentioned it was illegal and that since you recieved the ticket you changed your car to conform.

Sorry dude, but I gotta agree with fmullegun. My car came with factory HID's and they look nothing like yours. Yes, they're brighter as they are HID's but they have zero blue. Yours look blue to me, the glare they produce at night is highly annoying to fellow drivers, and they just look cheap.

either go get a car with real HID projectors in them or take this crap down.

the color doesnt even matter to me..its the glare. its blinding.

whats the point of this anyway? you are driving down the road and after blinding people..do you expect them to go, "ouu i want to be that guy!"

true that. OEM HIDs are 4300K.

and always in projectors. never in halogen housing.

Honestly, with all your talk about, "blue hue, if you look at it a certain way"
    sounds like rationalization buddy.

That may be the reason you were pulled over in the first place because you can definitely see the difference in the lights on your car. I still don't think they are that blue though.

Only thing good about those lights is that they clue the po po in on who should be pulled over first. Those things irritate the living crap out of me. White when shining at you, but the slightest deviation and they they change colors.... bumpy road? back and forth back and forth. completely irritating. I'm sure from the driver's seat in your car they're fine... but not from the driver's seat of the cars in front of you.
