I am 5"4 and thin, and even I thought the seats were horrible. I can't believe how little leg room there is. I was in the 30 dollar seats, which aren't that inexpensive, so I can't understand the lack of leg room. Oh wellm Rockets game are fun regardless - so no worries! The rest of the arena and middle scoreboard makes up for the lack of leg room..
I forgot to say - I have actually sat in literally the worst seats at the SBC Center, the top corner, and while the view is nothing to write home about, the seats and the legroom offered were perfectly normal. Even though I don't live in Houston I have Texans season tickets and make it back for most every game (1 missed so far). It's not out of the question that I might have got a wild hair and got a ticket package for the Rockets this year. If I had, after one game's attendance the Rockets would have been looking at a chargeback on my credit card. The disdain the team is showing to the average fan is an outrage, and I predict that for the entirety of the TC's existence, no matter the fortune of the team, the upper deck will remain more or less empty. And the sad thing is, Les couldn't care less about that. What does he care about people who pay $30 or $20 or even $15 or $9 for a seat when he's got Mr. Potato Head Tillman Ferttita (who is to cuisine what the WWF is to athletics - shame on all of you who waste money, time and opportunity eating at his disgraceful businesses) and his ilk paying many thousands per for their blocks of seats... The direction the franchise has taken with the construction of this abortion is sickening. It's almost too bad that JVG is clearly going to whip these selfish tards into a contending team somehow.
