Man I was 35 a l-o-n-g time ago. DaDa and Htown: I didn't include a moderate or independent option because almost everybody would flock there. I'm trying to force a more distinctive (albeit less accurate) choice. As I said, this is not the most scientific of polls. Just for fun.
Here is a small political test to find out where you stand: http://www.self-gov.org/quiz.html I am Liberal-Left
Does anybody remember the "lay it on the line, Democrat or Republican" poll? What were the results of that? By the way, political polling is more scientific than you guys think. Sorry, but since I'm learning how to conduct them right now, I feel obligated to stick up for them.
I dont remember that poll but I dont think its as simple as asking someone if they are Dem or Repub sometimes. I think more and more people nowadays fall in the gray/middle area. Technically, I call myself a Republican. However, I find I agree with more than a few Democratic philosphies.
That thing called me a left-liberal. Yeah, right! IMO the quiz was a bit small and only mentioned a few issues. I'm mainly conservative because of some issues that were not mentioned there. That one happened to pick a lot of issues (economic, etc.) that I don't have a particular opinion on, or favor some compromise. Oh well, on the other hand, remember I'm really a liberal next time I say something that disagrees with y'all.
By the way, Isabel, I"ve been meaning to tell you for a couple of years now, YOU HAVE THE BEST SIGNATURE ON THE BBS: "Isabel,clutchcity.net estrogen source since 1996"
I'm 32 and consider myself a conservative, although that website says that my political philosophy is centrist.
Im really similar to DaDakota except younger Im also all over the place. I dont really fit into a standard classification becase I have both strong beliefs on the left and right side. I am generally conservative economically and very liberal with social issues.
I’m 34, It seems like the older I get, the farther right I lean. I was much more liberal 10 years ago.
