no more infinate melee, but how did corner camping hurt the game, you could still get killed pretty easily
When I played if survivors stacked in a closet or corner they could sit there and were basically untouchable.
Spitter-- spits acid, and explodes to drop acid onthe ground. It's my favorite character to be. When some one is down, and another come to help them spit acid at them and the ground is covered with bubbling acid. Also great for people that corner up in closets etc. Jockey--rides the humans on their back, and steers them whereever you want them to go. Like into fire, acid, off cliffs, into other zombies. Charger--Like a smaller tank, with a HUGE arm. Can stampede and slame people in to the wall or out windows to their instant deaths. Also grabs people and stars slamming them into the ground.
Those are the special infected, I meant the uncommon infected. P.S. The jockey looks like he could cause major lulz
ah. So like the witch and the Tank? Only real difference is the witch walks around now, isn't just sitting in one spot.
I guess if all 4 sat in a closet it works, but not when a tank comes. What difficulty do you play on?
lol. Guess i have no idea what uncommon is. They are pretty damn common. hazmats are eh....they sometimes carry boomer bile. (correct word?). they are just more characters to shoot at, so it's not the same zombies over and over. Ones in Riot Gear have bullet proof vests.... I don't really see any ways of using them. They act just like regular zombies. Really, just another annoyance.
It used to be that a tank could only hit 1 survivor at a time, even if they were all stacked in the same hit box. I think that was fixed, though.
well, 1 hit from an tank and you are incapped. If you are all sitting in the same corner, all 4 of you will die in a matter of seconds.
Oh, idk about versus. I never cared for versus, but I think that is played on normal or easy. I exclusively played the campaign on expert
That simply blows my mind. I've never had more fun playing online than I have playing L4D with 3-7 of my friends. I definitely enjoyed campaign, and beat a few of them on expert, but the versus was always where it was at for me.
I don't think it is fun unless it is on expert. I like being the zombies on versus, but being the people I just found boring on such an easy difficulty. If versus was on a higher difficulty, I could see the appeal.
If you play against people who are actually good at the game, then versus is never boring, and can be just as challenging as expert. Of course, if you don't have a good number of friends who can play at the same time, then it's pretty rare.
Versus was much more exciting to me because there is no substitute for a real opponent, no matter how sophisticated the AI on expert is. Plus even if things went badly it still made for epic lulz.
