If he could hit the jump shot, he would be starting and starring right now.

For whatever reason or reasons, DM the GM never consummated a deal with Stefanski, either rumored deals for Iggy or #2. Now, in rides Thorn. With whom DM the GM did not consummate a Favors deal.

What does that all mean? What does that all mean, indeed...

Totally incorrect!! Lee is a shooting Guard. Lowry is a quality Point Guard :p

I would rather have Lowry over Lee, IMO why not trade lee to get Iggy at the deadline ..?

So do we keep trading for backup PGs so we keep the salary low just becaue they are a 'backup' PG? Lowry is making what the market has dictated for him. I don't think we move him. I think Les has been fortunate to not pay luxury tax, but if he wants to have a championship team, he more than likely will have to get into the tax like all the other true contending teams are. Its the nature of the beast in the NBA.

Brooks will probably get paid a good amount next year. He has earned it and would be a good piece on a championship team. You gotta pay for that. Can't always get the bargain deal for talent. Cant keep trding players just becuse its time to pay them. Les will just have to say, ok, it's time for me to pay up to keep this team together.

If Brooks gets like $8 million, that would be $14 million tied up in 2 good PGs....

But a guy making $6 million needs to be playing at least 24 minutes per game...and if those minutes are not there, it is best for all if you can trade him and make better use of that $6 million.

Lowry played just over 24 minutes a game last year.

I agree if he's not getting his fair share, that's not good for any party involved, but he seems to have become a very important piece to this team...I'd hate to lose that; to lose that spark he provides off the bench.

don't know if Lee can play the point but the team could just sign Ish Smith to back up AB if a deal like that were to happen.

No way. Are you kidding me? Lowry is as valuable as Iggy imo. Lowry is a winner and he's proven to be a tough hardnose winner. You don't give away bulldog.

Lee is not as proficient at the pt guard position as Lowry is so he definitely isnt made expendable.

Iggy is not a playmaker or a PG, neither is Lee, your logic makes little sense

    He just might be......

I don't believe they can keep them both...and it will boil down to one of two things.

    1. If they are able to get a superstar, which player does that team want?

    2. If they are not, which player do the Rockets value the most.

One will be gone inside of 2 years.....IMO.
I don't want either gone, love the contrast they bring, but I just think eventually one will get traded to upgrade the team, or because they don't want to pay a backup PG too much $$$$.

Lee and Lowry will play great together. Lee makes JT expendable.
Phillie has 3 pg's already, they wouldn't want another. We have all we need to get Iggy now.

There is zero doubt in my mind that JT is a goner if the roster stays as it is...

Lee makes Adelman expendable. The team is so good we should turn it over to Elston Turner.

When did Lowry sign his new contract? He can't be traded for 3 months.

Although I'm glad Ariza is gone, DM and Adelman met with Ariza during free agency to convince him come to come to Houston...well all know the story

It would look real bad if Rockets decided to trade Lowry after, on more than one occasion, going public saying how much they want him back...only to trade him immediately after signing a new contract.
