King James has a new palace.

The Miami Herald reports that first-year Miami Heat star LeBron James purchased a three-story mansion overlooking Biscayne Bay in Coconut Grove, a neighborhood of Miami, Fla., for $9 million.

    James
County records show the sale closed on Nov. 12 and was first reported by real estate broker Alex Shay on Nov. 19 on his Miami Real Estate Blog.

The 12,178-square-foot estate has six bedrooms and eight and a half bathrooms. The house also has a wine cellar, library, home theater, three-car garage and guest house.

It also includes an infinity pool, bar and a dock that can fit two 60-foot yachts.

    this might sound crazy...

but doesn't it look kinda small for a 9 million house?

his old mansion in cleveland was like a huge park

Good god, that place is beautiful... truly is an abode fit for a King. You sure as hell can't find a view like that in Cleveland. $9,000,000 is chump change to the King, he didn't even flinch when bought that crib. And you know how he paid for it... in the words of Randy Moss, "straight cash, homey."

You're right, it's only 12,000 square feet directly on the oceanfront. ;)

I hear he's not gonna hire a maid or cleaning lady. Bosh is just gonna be there 24/7 as his "cleaning lady".

Looks like he'll have to put the portable hoop at the end of the side street.

    I think it's a wine cellar.

    ...but I could be wrong.

    Straight cash, homey!

Considering he's racking up $10,000,000 to don Nike apparel, he bought that crib with a year's endorsement earnings, and still had a cool mil on deck. Oh, the life of a King.

that is a good point.. most of the super rich athletes have a personal gym in their house.. lebron is obviously not concerned about improving his game but just enjoying the riches..

the library is useless to him.. can he even read?

I doubt he's even literate. Couldn't be, especially if he goes on national TV to say "I'm takin' ma talents to Souf beach".
