I don't see any problem with players consulting each other to help them make decisions...I'm sure it's done all the time.

Making it a "summit" is pretty ghey though.

Yeah, why don't they just make it an annual thing, a Free Agents Convention or something in Vegas.

Actually, they just didn't have the options that these guys do. It's easy for Bird and Magic to talk that good ish about how they didn't want to seek out talent when they had stacked teams from day 1. I don't see anything wrong with a bunch of talented guys deciding to take advantage of their free agency and play where they want, together. Everyone needs help to win. Why put all my faith in management to get me quality help when we can do it ourselves.

    Ice,

    Exactly.....

Any player should take advantage of their situation, careers are very short, and they should do whatever is in their own best interest, regardless of fake loyalty or fans etc.

The players should only do what is right for themselves.

Personally, I think Lebron and Bosh go somewhere together, and Wade gets Boozer to Miami ......

Gonna be fun for lots of other NBA cities, but I doubt Houston gets in on any real action this summer.

Maybe they slide in the side door and snag Joe Johnson for Ariza and some picks...

Just thinking that if Bosh does end up next to LeBron or Wade, say in NY, the extra endorsement dollars would easily make up for the extra he'd get in a sign and trade.

They only have like 12 teams on the slots, and mine came out the same except it had LEbron in Miami and David Lee and Bosh swapped(guess New york did a double sign and trade)

I still don't see those guys doing this. If so it would only be to pressure mgmt to bring in some more talent. Kobe Bryant was a free agent a few years ago - did he do anything similar? I can't recall. These new guys just come off as soft and insecure. I don't see why Wade needs to be involved with this BS.

This whole thing worries me. It has to be apparent to these free agents that Houston is in the bidding when they have their discussions. I see them screwing us over on purpose. Not fair for Houston. Well.. i guess it is better off that we don't get a player that does not wanna be here anyway.

Ino granger won't be there but this kid is looking like the Orlando tmac (minus the injuries). He could definitly be an ELITE player soon. I see that DM sees this talent and trys really hard to get him after all the weakest point we have is SF because we can get the big man easy but we need a man that puts up 30 almost every night.

Would a Rudy Gay be a good fit on this team?

If he could turn into a semi decent defensive stopper yes.
