That's awesome. Some of the heavy hitters in the league getting together.

It's kind of like a Justice League meeting, without the crappy Wonder Twins.

Wade has the most to lose, so he is probably orchestrating this. He'll play 2nd fiddle to Lebron on the open market and unlike Lebron, can't chose to stay put and still play on a contender if nothing better comes along. Bosh is in a pretty good spot because he can probably get signed and traded to just about any team he wants.

If Wade doesn't lure another star south, the odds of him playing on a championship caliber team are very slim. I doubt Riley would deal him to a contender and almost all the teams with cap space need a lot more than just him to make noise in the postseason. I certainly understand why he is concerned about the thoughts of the other guys.

what I'm really suprised about is that after 5 pages of this thread, nobody has mentioned that it is in the wrong place. This should go in the NBA Dish.

I think wade and lebron going to be on different teams, and wade and lebron will try to convince Bosh to play with one of them, the player that doesnt take bosh, he gets Joe Johnson as a consolation prize.

I agree, this is just getting out of hand.

Is it me or does this year's FA class seem to be a bunch of attention grabbers. I mean, why these guys have to get together to have this meet? Technology is the answer. If this is true, they aint gonna come up with crap at a meeting like this. All this is, is a another attempt to get teams to throw big money at them.

If these guys couldn't even agree on a simple thing like the dunk contest, what makes you think that they will agree on playing together for the majority of their primes?

I see this meeting as a failure. Wade stays in Miami, recruits Amare, Boozer or Johnson. LeBron stays in Cleveland or goes to Chicago. Bosh is sign and traded in the West to either Houston or LA.

Why dont the next free agent class of superstars just have a big o Orgy somwhere and decide where to land the next city with a championship.

This is stupid if you ask me .. so what are they goin to say?

Wade : where you guys plan to go?

Bosh : Whover can PAY me the most!!

JJ : Hell yeah, "cuz da money is da motive!"

Lebron : I dont really care, as long as ESPN and the media keep talkin' about where I mite end up ... is cool with me!

Wade : I'm thinkin about NYC .. big light .. big city .. where 'em ladies lookin pretty!

Bosh : Hey! I was thinkin there b****!

Wade : Sit your RuPaul ass down! who's the one wit the ring around this muthafcker!

JJ : I just want to rake in as much as I can, cuz some dumb GM is goin to pay me ... and I'll pull a Turkoglu on their b**** ass! spendin da cheeezeee!!

Lebron : Why dont we just keep actin like we're bailin to another team .. to build up the HYPES and RUMORS all summer!!! .... and then we just sign back with our own team.

ALL : That's da plan! byooooootch!

seriously ... WTF are they goin to say? Oh i'm goin here .. no no I like it here .. oh no no no I wanna go here, you two should go here, maybe you should go there instead , oh NO NO NO!! if u two go there then I cant win a ring boo hooo!..... ARNT these guys tryin to win a RING for themselve?

    this is gay.

you kidding me? they're using each other to make more money, not talk about going off together somewhere, i can see it now

"ok lebron you dont want to go to chicago, but make a hard play for them, let them think you're coming.........alright last second you stay in cleveland, chris really want to go to chicago, so after they lose Bron they'll bosh more.......and Joe you're the worst player among us........do not sign, we will drive the price up and after we're gone, some team will be so desperate, they'll have to come to you"

Bosh is a Laker. There is no point of him going. I think he is going just to drive his price up or something. Make himself look more popular. (like the kid in school that gets jordans after everyone else so he can fit in)

For those that dont know. Bosh Bynum trade was a done deal in February. The lakers said no. To worried about chemistry and Bosh leaving. Now, with Bynum sucking, they want Bosh.

He also makes suptle hints in his tweets about Lakers. Whats worse, is the Raptor fans actually think Bynum is going to be an allstar,a stud, and get better.

I disagree. He is 22 (which Raptor fans think is a positive) but I see it as a negative. He is 22,yet for the last 2 years(maybe 3 years) he has had repeated knee injuries. Its only going to get worse as he gets older, slower, fatter. Every player gets more injury prone as their bodies age.

Bynum doesnt even play fourth quarters anymore. I think Lakers are covering it up to boost his trade value. They have to say "he needs surgery" instead of "he just flat out sucks in crunch time".

So,you have Bosh wanting to play in LA. You have Lakers wanting Bosh and moving Pau to center. You have Raptors Colangelo thinking Bynum is the next Shaq. Its a done deal.

Funny thing is once Kobe starts to fade, Bosh wont be able to carry that team (since he and Pau are soft) and he will face overwhelming critisim for not being the 'savior'. The media is bad there like New York.

As a Rockets fan, I used to want him now I dont. I used to think he wanted to play with Wade until I found out about the done deal in February. The reason I dont want him is because he wanted to play for Lakers more than us. I dont want a player that 'had to settle for Houston'. Nope. I want a player that says "id love to play with Yao'. Not someone that has a list of 9 teams and puts Houston last on it.(according to the report)

Great ... if Bosh doesn't want to sign here, let's sign one of those big-bodied Euro centers as back-up to Yao and trounce the team that Bosh ends up with ... who needs their egos?

And one of them will get injured, just like Grant Hill when the Magic raped the NBA in FA that summer.
