    incorrect.

the knock on jordan was his range, not his shot. jordan's midgame j was respected, but that was about it. even then, the rap on MJ was that he looked to drive almost every time, often at the expense of the midrange j, which may have been a better shot.

that said, lebron's game could (and should) improve. but do you really think he has the time right now to go shoot 1000 j's a day? during the season, it's impossible for anyone. it has to be done during the offseason. however, he has so many commitments off the court, i wonder if he has the time available to work on this *obvious* flaw in his game.

seriously, you could put a 2 guard on lebron, tell him to back off an extra step or two, and negate lebron james' abilities completely. at least, right now you can.

The thing with LeBron is that he doesn't seem to have a goto move. He can't shake defenders to create his own shot. And he kept missing the open jumpers. His passing is good.

But predicting this kid to be next Jordan/Magic, or even Kobe/T-Mac, is rediculous.

I felt so funny when I read following lines from AP post game report:

``I'm out there laughing because those are shots I usually make,'' James said. ``Four or five high school games I hit more than eight 3s in a game. I've got the all-time record at St. Vincent-St. Mary's with 11 3s in a game, so it's just finding my comfort level. That's all it is.''

Shooting well in four or five HIGH SCHOOL GAMES makes James think he can shoot well in NBA!

This make me realize that he is still an 18 yrs old kid even he looks more mature than he actually is. And I am sure this won't come out of Jordan, Magic or even Kobe's mouth.

He will definitely be a great player, but I am not sure if he can reach Kobe's level, not even mention Jordan or Magic.

BTW, if I can cast my vote for ROY now, it will go to Carmelo Anthony. After watching both games, Carmelo simply play better at this stage.

He'll never reach the Jordan/Kobe level without exceptional fockass. I'm not sure if he has that yet.

Its only pre-season wait till he gets comfotable then we can judge him.
