i root for guys who make great basketball plays and is a great basketball player. i watch basketball b/c i enjoy players displaying their skills. if you let athletes' lives and what they do off the court influence that, then that's you.
if you don't care about their lives then why do you defend LeBron on every single thing he does off court when someone's hatin on him? if his image didn't matter to you, you wouldn't do this. Funny a few years ago you yourself was trashing LeBron saying he wasn't all that and that he would never be as good as T-Mac... But I don't blame you, the world needs its sheep. This doesn't just happen in sports anyway. People like Twilight cause of the metro sexual actors and not its story. Britney has her hardcore fans defending all of the crazy **** she's done. And LeBron has his blind followers cause he plays well. Its human nature for people to like things on the surface and not look any deeper.
i defend him sarcastically b/c it's funny to me it matters to people what he does off the court. i know he is a cocky athlete who really cares for himself. i've said that many times. nobody in their right mind would think the decision was a good thing (outside of the money to charity). tha was an egotistical act, but we all know he's like that before the decision. i like him as a basketball player, nothing more, nothing less.
Lebron is a better scorer than wade. He's also a better 3 pt shooter than wade. Lebron is actually a rich man's version of Wade. Aside from PR Wade is inferior to Lebron in every category. That's not a diss to Wade as it is a testament to how good LBJ is. Durvasa is right. If you have to choose between 1, it has to be Lebron over Wade on this team.
