After 5 games, they are statistically the best team in the NBA and would be the best defensive team ever, so yeah, they are "great". However, 5 games is WAY too premature to make an assessment about the team or any of the players. I personally think they'll get a lot better because their offense still isn't all the way there yet. I expect LBJ, Wade, and Bosh to all be over 50% FG by the end of the year, for one.

I would say in this situation there is no one man on the team.

Great in the sense that they are dominating opponents right now and probably will win 60+ games.

Whether they will be great in the playoffs remains to be seen.

I can't call any team great until they dominate the regular season and win at least one championship. I don't think Wade will shoot 50% this year. Lebron and Bosh should get there

    Gotcha.

Honestly, I'd favor Boston right now in a 7 game series

Well according to spoelstra the offense is running through lebron.

And when I watch the wolves game, wolves commentators can only talk about lebron's impact on the game despite wade was the leading scorer.

Lebron has more impact on offense and defense than any other heat. Thats from watching the game and not even looking at stats.

I agree. That said, this is Wade's team. There isn't any doubt about that.

I think you are considering it wade's team because he has a history with the heat; lebron doesn't. And to some until lebron leads the heat to a ring, it will always be wade's team.

But impact-wise, it is not even close. You can see spoelstra being more comfortable putting lebron with 4 role players than wade or bosh because he is just so dominant.

I do agree wade will be the leading scorer because lebron shoulders everything else. However, bron will still put up 22-23'poonts by year end when he gets more comfortable with the new offense.

I know it would. Doesn't mean they would be right. I've always said LeBron is clearly the better player so you accusing me of making excuses for Durant is silly.

But Durant's shooting percentage at the end of the season will be at least 10% better (probably more), which clearly shows that you can't make any conclusions based on this small a sample size. If you want to compare LeBron and Durant, do it based on their previous seasons which show that LeBron was, is and probably will be better for the next few years at the least.

i'll say this: durant will never be better than lebron until lebron declines a lot.

durant still has no playmaking game, and has zero impact on the game when he doesn't score (like the clips game).

he's a better version of carmelo and that's it. and that's already great.

but people need to stop about him ever being the best player in the L. other all-around players will take the crown before he does, unless he develops a playmaking game.

Like I said, that'll all change if they win a championship with the way they are playing now. It's going to be LeBron's team.

    Oh my, how polite

All I'm seeing from you is still "WHOEVER SCORES THE MOST IS THE LEADER LALALALAL". You have zero valid points whatsoever and continue to babble nonsensical gibberish even after multiple posters have pointed out the flaws in your rant.

Do you watch basketball at all

    Passing : LeBron
    Shot selection: LeBron
    Scoring: LeBron
Ball Handling: LeBron (Durant has awful handles, carries a lot)
    Defense: LeBron

LeBron is much better then Durant and will be for some quite time barring injuries.

    i agree.
Lebron is a future HOFer. he's always been since he was spotted in high school.
KD is still a work in progress he still has a few more years to get to Lebron's level, if he ever reaches it.
i dont really care for Lebron and i like KD but facts are facts.

If I had to pick a player as being a good teammate, a good likeable person- it's definitely Durant.

as of now though, lebron is better but is less respected by me.

Why pick a douchebag of a player anyway? Maybe it reflects who you are as a fan.

we're fans of BASKETBALL. we don't know how they are off the court. so i'm not going to pass judgement.

they're definitely much easier to root for yeah. it's like Space Jam.. LeBron is part of the monStars and guys like Chuck, Battier, Durant.. they're the Looney toons who have to go through adversities and you feel for them cause they're the good guys.
