This is so he can opt out after next year losing to the spurs and go join Durant in "Somewhere ville" for durant to team up with who so ever and get more rings.. This league sucks..

LeBron was probably the reason that the Cavs didn't win the title this year. He brought all his old player pals to Cleveland. Their contribution, however, was next to nothing. If he continues to "organize" the roster or coaching, he'll opt out next year without an additional ring.

No. Its for him to earn the most money possible.
If the cap jumps more than the annual raise in a long-term deal then he's losing money.

    Lebron $23M
    Love $22M
    Kyrie $18M
    Shumpert $10M
    Thompson $16M?
    Mozgov $4.9M

Total $93.9M for 6 players, the Cavs will end up with a Payroll of about $114M dollars for the 2015 season that will translate to about an extra $30M in Luxury tax…

Good luck for the owner if the Cavs are going to lose the Spurs next year finals, which is quite possible.

Waiting for the Cavs to trade Love for Carmelo. It makes too much sense for both teams.

I suppose injuries to a certain Kevin Love and Kyle Irving have nothing to do with them losing to the Warriors then. :roll eyes: Stupid post is stupid... SMH

Not going to happen. Kevin Love is a better player than Melo and a much better fit for Irving. People don't seem to understand that the Cavs have Irving and Love locked for a long haul. That gives them peace of mind concerning LeBrons maneuvering. If LeBron bolts, which he is unlikely to do, they have a strong backbone to go on. LeBron is declining and the Cavs need to create a momentum to continue. Irving and Love will be a very good base to build on, because they are a good match. Gilbert has a game plan in place when he is paying the horrendous luxury tax now.

If Lebron left that team is not making the playoffs.
