This is the first I've heard of this. Lebron didn't get all those Magic Johnson comparisons for scoring alone. I thought LBJ was easily the best passer out of the 'big 4' of Wade, Kobe, LBJ, and Tmac. Although Tmac's definitely changed that the past few months. I dare say on a Rockets board that they are pretty close now, but I might still give the nod to Lebron. Out of the 'big 4' he's definitely the weakest shooter and defensive player though.

A quick google check showed this: http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/16799211/

Hmm, can we get a lock on this thread please? I believe over the past few weeks, King James has pretty much made all the doubters look like idiots. He was coasting earlier this season, but he can turn it on whenver he wants to like he's doing now, and he's unstoppable. Put up 39 in a win in LA, beat Houston with an impressive performance, and last night he was a monster again detroit.

I was really impressed with LeBron's performance last night. If he can continue to lead his team like that in late game situations, there's no telling what his ceiling is.

Yeah, but that was because them bumping into each other caused a turnover when the ball went out of bounds. And that was in the 4th quarter of a close game. It had nothing to with his triple double chances -- it was about trying to win the friggin' game.

true but it was lebron fault varejao had position and lebron jumped from behind him and a bit to the side to try to grab the rebound. i tihnk he may have been told that he was close to a triple double (sometimes a stat person on the team tells the coach when a player i near a milestone) and he looked pissed afterwards. it was a close game but that was a bit more i think lebron trying to be selfish than being upset it was a turnover.

People used to say the same thing about Jordan until he started winning rings. Bottom line, fair or unfair for all these guys, is that until a priemier player wins a ring he will be scrutinized.
