The Morey issue has to do with a troubling growing issue of a foreign autocratic regime having so much influence, they are in affect effecting free speech in western democracies. That is the subject matter that we are discussing here. We can start another thread about the distrust between the poor urban black community and law enforcement were the distrust is mostly earned.

This current debacle with LeBron makes me question if his activism was from a principled standpoint or whether a team of marketers told him that these causes market well to the NBA fanbase and can increase his brand profitablity. You can't blame me for doubting his sincerity with his activism with the garbage he has said today.

Yeah I’m a fan. Hes made the players a lot of money and helped out his community in many ways. He’s made his share of mistakes but overall I would say he’s winning at life. Don’t think an MIT degree matters to him.
