What does this reply have to do with anything durvasa just posted?

Are you changing subjects again? If you post here you should at least stand by what you write.

Here's a tip. The NBA Dish around here usually has pretty civil and informed discussions. If you like flame wars, trolling, trash talking, etc maybe the ESPN boards or something like that may be more your speed.

Why are the Kobe fans usually the worst contributors around here? Seriously...I mean everyone else notices the same pattern right?

Why are you shifting your argument to something else?

You said before that LeBron fans like to compare LeBron and Jordan but wouldn't allow you to compare Kobe and Jordan. That's obviously nonsense. No person that has made comparisons between LeBron and Jordan got on your case simply for comparing Kobe and Jordan. They got on your case because you made a weak argument for Kobe being the greatest ever.

But now, ironically enough, it is you who are unwilling to allow comparisons to be made between LeBron and Jordan while simultaneously not just comparing Kobe to Jordan but actually proclaiming him to be the greater player.

I feel exactly the same way.

I love lebron's game, and feel that he is probably the best player on the planet right now.

Also i dislike the celtics, not just kg, but also paul pierce (I like rondo and allen though), but I just can't cheer for the cavs cause all the hype lebron gets. Its like everything he does is the greatest ever. I am really gettting sick of this BS. Now that the cavs have lost, I bet everyone will be blaming this lose on the elbow, coaching and supporting cast.

LOL. Actually almost every media personality gets accused of being connected with the illuminati, especially if they do the "all seeing eye" sign like what lady gaga does all the time (which is weird to me because doesn't the back of the dollar bill have that as well? Holy Jeebus  ).

There was a time when I felt that LeBron would no doubt be the greatest player in the NBA maybe even all-time. This was after he led the Cavs to a stunning upset of the Pistons in the Eastern Finals and an appearance in the Finals against the Sperms. But ever since that has happened, I would argue that LeBron has regressed somewhat. His Cav teams have arguably been better recently than the one that lost in the Finals and yet after having back to back 60 win seasons, he can't even get his team to the Finals??!!

Do you think that would happen to Kobe Bryant?? As much as I hate that punk, if he is on a team that has won 60 or more games, I can guarantee that team will be in the Finals, in the very least in the Conference Finals. I just don't think LeBron is as mentally tough.

So, now we are all supposed to be glued to ESPN non-stop to see where this guy winds up?? Why?? So we can predict that his new team will get eliminated in the 2nd round of the playoffs for next season?

we'll never know for sure, but i would say no. i think kobe is a better winner than lebron because he's a true leader who gets his team focused. lebron isn't there yet. the celtics plan was to pack the paint against lebron and force him to shoot. kobe would take advantage of being allowed to shoot, while lebron really can only drive. his jumper is still very inconsistent.

in the end the celtics had the better team. rondo, garnett and perkins shut down williams, jamison, and shaq. then they packed the paint against a guy who isn't a consistent shooter and its no wonder they won.

Kobe couldn't beat Boston with Gasol a couple of years ago.

Even if the Lakers beat Boston this year is because LA has a much superior team then Clev.

Kobe beat the Magic team of last year with ease. He was able to get his points and got his teammates involved at the same time, something LeBron couldn't do.

Which player saw more double teams -- Kobe or LeBron?

Of course Kobe, Magic singled covered LeBron until he's in the paint, and shut down his teammates on perimeter.

They tried the same strategy and Kobe went for 40 and 8 in the first game by hitting those mid range. They were forced to double a lot since 2nd game. And in one occasion they feared Kobe so much they doubled him in back court down the stretch, which led to Fish's tying 3 pointers.

Ask Bowen and Petri who's harder to cover, and it won't even be close.

That's funny, because you know what LeBron James averaged over the 4 games in which his team lost to the Magic? 40 and 8 (look it up).

And yet, the Lakers win with Kobe going for 40 and 8, and the Cavs struggled when LeBron does it.

Could it be that the Cavs not having anyone to guard Dwight Howard and none of LeBron's teammates having the ability or confidence to generate their own shot was a major factor here?

I would stop wasting your time.

This guy is so enamored with the Cavs he would trade the whole Rockets team for the whole Cavs team (minus Lebron of course, because he's holding them back).

I guarantee you the friend who said that was Worldwide Wes, sounds exactly like the type of thing he'd say. So since James is clearly going to be looking to Wes for advice on what to do in the off-season, I wonder what direction Wes will point him in.

I find it highly unlikely that LeBron's friends will advice him to stay in Cleveland. If there's one thing he and his group desire over anything: it's success. This post-season was a overwhelming failure for the Cavs so I believe a split is inevitable.

I'm not a Kobe fan, but isn't the triangle offense designed to give your core player enough room to operate in the post and prevents double teams? Most coaches believes in the philosophy that your best player should make play and set his teammates up while the triangle offense focuses on making life easier for your primary scorer, setting him up in his comfortable zone to score as many points as possible.

Yes, but I don't think the Lakers run the triangle offense as much as its advertised. The Lakers do typically have multiple post threats on the floor, great floor spacing, and Kobe probably takes advantage of space given to him by the defense better than any player in the league.

The thunder never doubled Kobe and doubled gasol. Jazz rarely doubled him.

I don't know why ppl are still comparing. Lebron is a better player and faces tougher defenses. He is a 2 time MVP for a reason.

Now Kobe is a better winner throughout his career and lebron has a long way to achieve hat Kobe has team wise.

I agree with this. I guess I'm a fan of the triangle offense. Phil Jackson and Tex Winter has done a marvellous job in LA. Watching the LA vs Utah series, once the post player gets the ball, it would almost always result in a wide open shot. If you don't have the right personnel to deny Gasol/Bynum catching the ball in the post(so they could only go to Kobe), you're probably going to lose the battle. You know they're hard to defeat when Kobe starts to set screens for his teammates. The Kobe-LeBron comparison in this thread reminds me of the CP3-D.Will comparison a while back. I believe CP3 has more talent, but he never had the good fortune to play under a great coach.
