Lebron has pretty much owned the Pistons since that Game 5 performance, has anyone else ever done that? I guess MJ knocked them down 1st

Lebron is shooting 51% and 37% from the 3 point line. While he isn't a good shooter inside th arc he is lighting it up outside, and he is the best finisher in the game. Even kobe and mj have never shot well from the 3.

I was doing association on 2k10 and was simming right up to when Lebron retired and he didn't win a championship on that... i had to laugh. The guy is a freak but I don't think its all on having poor team mates for him not having a championship. If he dropped all the showman crap and really thought about how to make the team better he could of won one by now.

Yeah, it was because of his "showman crap" that his team couldn't beat a Spurs team with TD, Parker, and Manu, or a Celtics team with KG, PP, and Ray Allen.

I like Lebron as well, but I don't think he is the NO.1 in last 9 years...during the first 10 years of 21 century,so many great NBA players, Kobe, Duncan,Shaq, even T-mac...But lebron joined in NBA games from 2003...even he played well in last 6 years, but see wade, he has one championship ring...

Fantastic player, of course, but when will the "We are all Witnesses" and pre-game Christ posing come to an end? We get it -- he's special.

Against the Spurs no one from the East was going to have a chance. Last two years if he was as good as they make him to be those Cavs should of been better. It's sometimes hard to explain team ball to people who are all about the players but I still remember one thing from last years playoffs, most teams give Lebron the mid to long range jumper until late because he is not the best from that distance. I remember one game after being unable to drive because of this he went into jack up bad jump shot mode, didn't look to pass off or try to set up someone else. When this happens the team starts to stop moving because they know he's just going to work for his own shot... just watch pretty much any Cavs game where they lose in the playoffs and you will notice it.

Now look at a ball commanding player like Kobe who has rings and see how he often tries to get everyone shots early on, therefore they know they may get the ball so they keep trying to work to get in a good position for it. Sure Lebron has good assist numbers but they are always against teams that just can't stop him driving, so they collapse and there is 3-4 guys open. Look at the Rockets when they held him to zero...a good team defense which can stop him driving and the skill to not all collapse normally beats the Cavs. Now i'm not saying its all his fault he hasn't won a ring, just in part.... I still think the main reason is how bad of a coach Brown is. Worst COY in history in my book.

Good observation. I agree wholeheartedly. If he wants to get a ring, he needs to get out of Cleveland.

He is the most athletic swingman I've ever seen in recent times. That's why he's considered a great player. Not only that but on defense he is pretty quick with his feet, and he's faster than some guards. He's just an athletic freak on the court.

How can you make the team better when your getting a triple-double every other game? At this point, it's the team, not LeBron who is at fault here. The pieces are there, but...

Read my 2nd post where I clarified it. I know it seems petty to be critical of a guy so talented but there are areas I believe he can improve in with his bball smarts.

best player in the game BAR NONE.

for ppl who say kobe, u can say he is still the best finisher. but from the ball is tipped, nobody has the all-around package lebron does.
