You are forgetting one thing: According to some people (that hate everything LeBron does), each time the refs give him the benefit of the doubt on anything is proof of a vast conspiracy to favor LeBron and the Cavs. It's ridiculous.

The refs sure did a good job of favoring the Cavs in Houston this week, right? With friends like that, who needs enemies?

    clean block.

    glad the cavs win.
the more portland lose the more chance we secure a playoff spot.

The ball has to be on its downward trajectory for it to be considered a block.

That was close, one of those 50/50 plays. If it was against the Rockets I'd probably be mad a goaltending wasn't called.

Another example of why basketball is so difficult to officiate, and why its tough to discern whether refs are favoring one team over another.

too close to call. it looked like it was coming down one angle, and it looked like it was still going up in another. it was cavs home court, and it was the king. its a block.

Looks like a goaltend, but it was a close call. It was just past its apex IMO. Certainly wasn't an easy call to make.

Agreed. If you're a Blazer fan its a definite goal tend, otherwise I thought it was clean. How high was Lebron? 12 and half feet? WOW.

A lot of dunks get blocked when the ball is above the rim. I don't think so, but I could be wrong.

Who cares. If the blazers won, we wouldn't be the number 5 seed right now.

Too close to call. Lebron has crazy hops. The old a@# refs probadly could not tilt their head up that high to clearly see it.

It's a 50/50 call and you have to go with a block that went out of bounds if it's a 50/50. If you call goaltend, you award a team 2 points on something that had a 25% chance that it really is a field goal (50% of it being goaltend, 50% chance going in). If no call, the shooting team still gets the ball back so it's a little bit more "fair".

That's how I see it anyways...

One of the more overrated plays in basketball.

Good job! You just emphatically gave the other team one more chance to score.

I agree. I'd still be annoyed if I was a Blazers fan.
