LeBron James sees point to flopping

    Guys, let's stop the bickering. I flop, too, in pick up games.

    You should try it. Sometimes the person you victimized by your flop would even apologize.

    Harden definitely flops, but not that often. He exaggerates calls all the time to get the ref to notice the foul. He also gets a lot of calls because defenders pick the wrong direction when he Euro-steps them. But Harden DEFINITELY flopped for the Houston Rockets this year and our team saw the benefit of that.

    His reputation is probably more built around his exaggerations though. Making fouls look more egregious isn't exactly making the NBA more fun to watch or a better game.

    There should have been many, many fines by now in this series. Oh well.

    Yes, Harden does flop at times on D like every other player. But I feel where he gets a distinction is that people see him going to the line 10 times a game and assume he must be flopping to get them.

    That I attribute more to the way refs call players drawing contact as they enter the lane. The one that Wade has mastered. If refs swallow more whistles when the offensive player initiates contact, then Harden's game would suffer.
