vets will be lining up to play in LA now

Rockets will get no 3rd star, and we’ll run with this same squad hoping that CP3 miraculously stays healthy...

It's over bro. Almost as over as Team USA not making the 2018 WC.

It almost happened. Iggy was sideline for the WCF. If it wasn't for CP3 going down, he might have regretted not playing for the Rockets. He escaped the curse by the slimmest of margins. The benefits of playing for the luckiest franchise on the planet I guess.

    *** LBJ.

I wish him postseason failure here on out until he retires with fewer rings than Kobe and MJ.

Look forward to beating which ever team he goes to.

He will forever be known as "LEBITCH" to me.

He said LeBron would be a rocket but did he say this season? That's how he gets you. Read the fine print, it probably says LeBron is a rocket in 2925.

You gotta give him credit though...the paper that he uses for the insider newsletter is outstanding. It's like 100% pure cotton.

In his defense, he did disappear...as Jopat. He tucked his tail between his legs and rose from the ashes to bless us with insider news as basketballholic.

But, like Gandalf, he is resurrected: "I've been sent back......to complete my task."

As far as the OP, can someone post a gif of Yoda: "That......is why you fail"? (I fail myself at posting images.)

When Lebron opted out we could all be lost in depression but he was there for us, offering comic relief.
    Shame on you OP, Shame!

Out of all the free agents we have ever pined for as Rockets fans, this felt like the least realistic thing ever. Just a gut feeling more than anything.

C-Webb, Bosh, Dwight, Melo, etc. all felt much more possible and feasible. This didn't.

A lot of it has to do with already having gone through The Decision and the heat his rep took for that. Then the heat KD is taking for joining the Warriors. if Lebron comes here, as great as it would be for us, it would ultimately kill any remaining semblance of parity in the league.

Still think he does another 1+1 in Cleveland. He's like the Morey of all players, going to keep his options flexible for the rest of his career. If the Lakers get Kawhi or PG first, maybe they have a shot.
