Good post but i disagree, I personally think that hakeem and what he was able to accomplish is underrated but thats another post, if lebron carried that cavs team to a single championship in his whole career I feel that the majority of people automatically disqualify him from the goat argument. 5-6 for kobe, 6 rings for mj, 1 ring for lebron no contest. However in time i think Lebron will win many championships with the heat dwade will fade into a 2nd option role and will be comfortable in it and people will understand that chris bosh is overrated.

I think in business loyalty is almost a myth, if lebron resigned with cleveland and he blew out his knees and became 1/2 the player he is now would "loyalty" have kept the cavs from trading him?

LeBron is absolutely correct; Cleveland deserves to be irrelevant from now on. First, not trading Sczcerbiak's corpse for Amare, which Phoenix was 100% willing to do, then the whole Delonte fiasco going on un-checked, and then the childish tirade by Dan Gilbert, who did everything he could do to not keep LeBron in Cleveland by letting Ferry pretend to be GM.

And the answer is ? LeBron said he merely was passing on the "Karma" thought he had received from someone else. Insisted no intent.

LeBron: "I don't think it was no intent at all. I think everyone looks into everything I say. Everybody looked too far into it."

LeBron on the origination of the tweet: "It wasn't even a comment from me. It was someone who sent it to me and I sent it out."

Good on Lebron, he gets his own dose of karma every year... it's called the playoffs.

I hope Shaq retweets this when Boston eliminates Lebron's team again.

Lebron James is an archetypal generation Y star: gloats and talks smack but wilts and cries like a baby in pressure situations. I was never a hater before, but now I hope he never wins anything.

Well Amare was different. He wasn't seen as the centerpiece, but just a key piece to a championship. that organization was clearly coming apart as soon as they had GM changes during the year towards the end. He didn't throw those two playoff games, hes just stupid. He has no basketball IQ when it comes to closing out games and learning to facilitate a system. Granted its a mike brown system, but the main reason why most people would pick Kobe or Durant over Lebron is because Lebron is just a athlete who will give you points and if you stand in a corner and shoot your shot because all defense collapses on you, you have done your job. Kobe and Durant actually know how to close out games, when to make certain plays, when not to.

He had every right not to tell anyone. I mean during the tv special ESPN showed live footage of people burning his television. Why would he write an add thanking them? I think he still wrote one to Akron.

The team had had a hand in too. Apparently Lebron was the last to know, everybody kept it from him.

I heard the same story. Not that it would have mattered because Mike Brown would have found a way to screw it up anyway. By the way, Brown was there because of Lebron too....

Fact is, the Jamison pick wasn't a bad pickup. It didn't work out, but keeping a promising young PF while adding a stretch 4 vet who can play now wasn't a bad deal for Cleveland - especially because it opened up the lane for Lebron to work...let's also not forget Amare was only a half season into his comeback from being injured two years in a row in Phoenix. At the time he represented a HUGE risk. You were giving up one of your future guys and a solid center for a max contract injury risk who might not even sign at season's end.

Oh boy. Just like the contraction stuff - LeBron, if you really want to embrace the villain role, the "heel" persona, you CANNOT be freaking wishy-washy! It is like he is Charlie Brown and that dude is not a villain.

I don't understand why athletes tweet. It seems like nobody notices unless they say something that can be used against them. Its just not worth the hassle.

The denial is weak. The tweet was dumb, but wilting like that when asked about it just makes it worse. I could respect it more if he said, 'that's right, the Cavs had it coming for how they treated me.' I'd have thought he was delusional and an *******, but now I think he's delusional, an *******, and spineless to boot.
