I just looked up the word Nepotism in the dictionary and guess who's picture I saw! That's right, Bronny. Dude is the poster child for that $hit. Wouldn't even be sniffing the G League if it wasn't for his dad much less the NBA.
Bronny going to the Lakers is actually the best case scenario. They're gonna force JJ to give him minutes and since he's not an NBA caliber player, they'll lose an bunch and it gets real awkward. Best outcome.
It will be ceremonial. They'll play a few minutes together. They'll share a cool basketball moment. Then Bronny will go back to the end of the bench or G-League. The Lakers are good and will still be a decent team and maybe better.
I remember LeBron saying this past season Bronny can play better than some of the players on the current roster...going to be an interesting training camp in LA
I can't wait to see Bronny get his pocket picked or get dunked on and LeBron hollering and jumping up and down on how his baby was fouled or mistreated. Should create a lot of drama for the L.A. Queens.
I can already tell you it will be LeBron instructing JJ on who to put on the floor and when. He's gonna go to substitute someone and LeBron is going to look over at him and give him a stare of disapproval then JJ's gonna get all flustered and call the guy back and then start pointing at different players until LeBron nods his head. LeBron has run off every single coach he's ever had except for Spo cause Riley don't play that. Mark my words, LeBron is going to destroy JJ's confidence. He will be a shell of himself and never coach again after this experience.
I just don't see how anyone in the locker room is going to respect Bronny. It will be like bring your child to work day. It's just stupid. LeBron's going to have a big game and he's going to be draping himself all over him and yelling "Hell yeah DAD! That was awesome, you're amazing! I LOVE YOU!!" Rest of the lockeroom grows silent looking at each like WTF is this bullsh!t?? LeBron is going to have to put some professional distance between he and Bronny or everyone is going to want out. And what the hell is he going to do when Bronny F's up? Is he going to talk to him the way he does the other players in the lockeroom? If he does there's going to be some bad blood between him and Bronny cause you don't chastise your kids like that in front of other adults and have the same warm and fuzzies at home. And, you can't play favorites with him and let mistakes slide when games are on the line and people's jobs are being threatened. And how is Bronny going to feel when he isn't anywhere close to being like his Dad or even good enough to be sitting at the end of the bench and has to be sent down to the G-League for practice? That's just humiliating. This whole thing is just a bad idea all the way around but I wouldn't expect LeBron to get that. Obviously I got a lot of opinions on this matter. LOL
