    And if you quit on your team...

    LeBron as he quit on the Cavs.
    Tracy as he quit on the Rockets.

    You could have the best playoff stats ever. But without a finals appearance (or even getting out of the first round in McGrady's case) and then pretty much blaming your teammates doesn't bode well for your public image.

    And people tend to emphasize how you quit on your team rather than call of playoff stats that are irrelevant because you didn't win anything anyway

    let me give you a definition of quit, since it's thrown around willy nilly around here

    quit: to stop, cease, or discontinue;

    it's hard to put up those stats in the playoffs (when teams are gearing to stop you) if you QUIT. common sense man.

    if you say lebron "struggled," sure that's a fine statement to make. he was below his superhuman ways v. boston. but quit?

    what tmac did on the play with jamario moon is "quit" b/c he stopped playing defense. he literally did.

    but for people to say lebron "quit" v. boston, you're basically saying he stopped playing.
