His head was above the rim. I could even say he had his chest almost at the rim. He was just jumping for an alley. Don't down play it

Huh? Watch the end part of the video where they shoot from a floor angle. His chest is nowhere near the rim. In fact, his head isn't ABOVE the rim either. At best he gets the top of his head level with the rim.... Please don't put your faith in the pause at 12 seconds, but rather in the pause at 16 seconds. I won't explain too much about the higher angle that you're looking at etc in the 12 seconds shot - but the 16 second shot is from floor height. No doubt he gets up there, but his chest is nowhere near the rim. Me pointing this out is not me hating on Lebron, it's simply stating the facts of the case which are indisputable.
a lot of athletes have 40 inch verts... i dunno what lebron's vert is though... you cant go off a moving video
