I'm assuming that we can't include Quarterman salary in a trade since we cut him? Is it still possible to trade for LeBron using Gordon and Tucker instead of Anderson?

harden is gonna go from slapping Cp3's hand to kneeling down and kissing King James hand.
I see why the front office is worried.[IMG]

Eh, i get what you're saying, but it's likely we would go for a sign & trade route here eventually, best way to make it happen for all the parts involved, especially for us, we won't lose as many players in that scenario.

Aaron Jackson will eventually take his place in a trade, if i'm not wrong we singed him with an unguaranteed contract for the next season.

Anyone worried about "gutting" our team for LeBron should not be taken seriously. Finding role players is easier than finding someone who might be the GOAT.

ratings would be through the roof...the NBA should be rooting for Lebron to Houston to happen

GS-Hou would be like 2 titans going at it

Especially when everyone will be willing to go ring chasing with us for the veteran's minimum salary.

I wouldn't say NO to LBJ to houston if I was brass... But I just don't see how he' fits with this team. Kinda how the media felt about cp3 and harden fitting b4 the season starting, which I didn't agree with..

Lebron can't win in Cleveland, and I don't believe that our guys are playing well enough to beat GSW. Moving contracts is going to be hard in order to get him in Houston. I think it can work if Harden, Chris and Lebron can make sacrifices. Clint will have to be retained too. Let's hope for the best.

First of all , this writer doesn't list what would have to be "given up" ....

Can they keep the same level of defense ?! Absolutely they can and in fact they get BETTER defensively adding Lebron.

Can they keep the same level of shooting - They lose Ryno and EG for Lebron. Lebron isn't bad shooter , he's only a couple percentage points behind the two but what he gives up in 3pt percentage he makes up literally everywhere else.

You'd have three of the best passers in the entire league on the same roster surrounded by solid shooters.

Three guys who can finish .... the two best at getting to and finishing at the rim in the game.

Nope , the writer of this article doesn't mention that the Rockets can keep all their free agents CP3 , Capela , Ariza , Luc , Green and add Lebron ..... at the cost of Ryno and one of EG or Tucker.

Ryno's played 10, 9, 7, 4 and 0 minutes in the last 5 games but somehow giving him up for Lebron is tearing apart the team ?! EG hasn't played all that well either ....

I think it's way too soon to dismiss our chances against GS (and obviously too soon to crown us), but if we even come remotely close to beating GS, I don't want Lebron. I don't think we're a whole Lebron away from beating them, and signing him this summer might feel even cheaper than when Durant went to GS, which I didn't think was possible

I don't think it will a cheap thing to do.
Lebron is a diva, but ultimately he is a team player. If we do come remotely close to beating GS ( hopefully we will defeat Utah soon), than, I would try to retain the core of team, and add some more pieces to the puzzle.

Lebron is actually the Cavs......there would be an ego problem.

Not necessarily just with Harden, but he would want to get on transfer politics with Morey and take over from Dan Toney.

He is that dominant, in areas other than BBall as well.

King James would not bow to Morey.

In or out on LeBron going to Philly next season?

Cris: I'm out. LeBron, his options...I believe Philly is on the table but I don't believe he'll go there. Also because Simmons & there's so much carry over to their game, where Ben is trying to go, I don't believe management wants to bring him in so I'm out.

Nick: Other part Broussard says is LeBron is interested in playing off the ball. This is the best basketball option for him. I'm in. Stays in the East, dominate that conference, make sure Kyrie & the Celtics don't make the Finals and team up two top 20 players.

Cris: That can't be a better fit than with Houston, Chris Paul & James Harden.

Nick: Houston seems to have fallen by the wayside as far as possibilities. Seems like Philly and LA. Houston wants him, doesn't look like LeBron is targeting them.

Our offense is predicated on pick and roll and iso switch mismatches. Add Lebron and create a triumvirate of iso and we would just annihilate teams

If we get Lebron might as well get rid of CP3 and sign some cheaper guard that only shoots and plays defense
