Lebron just wants to win and saw this opportunity to team up with Wade and Bosh as an opportunity he just couldn't pass up. He took $30 million LESS to do this. He is not about the stats, but wants to win rings........RESPECT.

Jordan by himself didn't win anything. He only started winning when PJ, Pippen, and his Jordannaires got there.

Also one thing people forget was that MJ only had a 30M salary like two times his entire career. The rest of the time he was being paid something like 16 mill, and that's peanuts back then when guys like Shaq or KG could make 30+ a year. The money the bulls saved on him went to upgrading the other players on the team. Its not the case here, all three of them are making the max.

Like I said the Miami became contenders, but that's all they are. They just reached Laker level status in the east, and would probably leapfrog Orlando and Boston as the Laker's number 1 threat. Nothing's guaranteed though, even if they do have 2 of the NBA's top 3 players.

Lebron is a front runner joining Wade and Bosh to win a few rings. I would have had more respect if he took the 30M and said it's on me, I am loyal to Ohio and the fans and we will have 6 more years to win a championship instead he takes the ready mix approach to winning his ring. Lebron can kiss my a**.

LeBron did not take 30 million less. Its not likes he's going to retire at the end of the contract. Everybody's acting like these guys are making half of what they could.

Sure he "could" blow out his ACL next season but career ending basketball injuries dont happen to often this isnt football........

Not to mention with no state income tax I bet its practically a wash money wise.
